No she said "I don’t need a 40-year-old white dude to tell me what didn’t work about A Wrinkle in Time. It wasn’t made for him. I want to know what it meant to women of color, biracial women, to teen women of color." Despite saying she doesn't hate white dudes throughout the speech, let's resort to your faux psychology She is interested in the opinion of those other than "white dudes"...what's wrong with that. The speech was not about wanting to hear only what the target audience had to say, but that women and people of colour were not given the opportunities to cover/review ALL films. AWIT was an example. And that is the point of the whole speech. She can find the opinion of a black movie critic...she doesn't say they don't exist...she actually quotes the percentage of how many are black. The study showed that the gender and racial make-up of those that review/interview is far from representative of the population/movie going audience. So you admjt Larson said the movie wasn't made for white people (i.e. white people aren't allowed to watch or review the movie because it's not made for them). That's as racist as an actor or actress saying "This movie was made for white people so only white people can watch and review this movie." As I already mentioned...your comprehension and understanding of the written word is lacking

So the security guard is sitting in his car in an empty parking lot in the middle of the night and hears a crash in the Blockbuster Video store. He sees a strange woman walk out of the store and approach his car and he rolls down the window to talk to her. Then he waits until morning to call the cops.
Why the fuck did he wait until morning to call the cops? Did he think 9-1-1 doesn't operate at night? Or was he just busy jacking off in his car all night?

It sounds as though the movie, which itself IS a plot hole for the reasons you described in the other thread, is also FULL of plot holes. Thanks for saving me $10!!!1

Here's an example of you can try:
It was close to dawn and the guard called in and it took a while for both CM to find the components she needed at the Radioshack and the cops to decide it was a SHIELD matter and call them in.

So your saying that the cops were called for a simple break-in at a video store but were too incompetent to arrest the suspect and had to call the feds to ask what they should do for a simple break-in? So this is just another example of MCU once again making law enforcement or military look either incompetent or corrupt. Why does MCU Dictator Kevin Feige hate law enforcement officers and US soldiers so much that he's always making them look incompetent or corrupt in MCU movies?

So we need the heroes, who are often former military or intelligence.

So MCU Dictator Kevin Feige intentionally makes law enforcement officers and US soldiers look either incompetent or corrupt in order to make the Avengers look more heroic? Similar to how Vince McMahon would have jabronies like the Brooklyn Brawler get squashed by the superstars in order to make the superstars look better?

I can only guess at your meaning there as I don't follow wrestling.
If law enforcement, intelligence or military could handle it there would be no need for the heroes, and if they go bad the heroes are the only ones who can stop them.

I can only guess at your meaning there as I don't follow wrestling. Jabronis are wrestlers whose job is to get dominated by and lose to the superstars in order to make the superstars look good. And in MCU, MCU Dictator Kevin Feige always makes law enforcement officers and US soldiers look either incompetent or corrupt in order to make the Avengers look more heroic. My question is why does Feige hate law enforcement officers and US soldiers so much that he's always making them look either incompetent or corrupt? If law enforcement, intelligence or military could handle it there would be no need for the heroes That's my point. In The Avengers, New York city was under attack and Captain America took over the job of traffic cop and told people where to run to. New York city has been the target of terrorist attacks multiple times in the past. So the mayor and the NYPD would already have an evacuation plan for emergencies and would already have trained their officers what to do and how to evacuate people in an emergency. So there shouldn't have been any need for Captain America to take over the job of traffic cop and tell people where to run. But MCU Dictator Kevin Feige intentionally made the NYPD too incompetent to evacuate people on their own in order to make Captain America look more heroic by being a traffic cop and tell people where to run. Also, since the Chitauri had no superpowers, the US military could've defeated the Chitauri on their own and there wouldn't have been any need for the Avengers. But MCU Dictator Kevin Feige intentionally made the US military too incompetent to even fly fighter jets to New York city to shoot down a bunch of non-superpowered aliens in order to make the Avengers look more heroic. Once again, my question is why does Feige hate law enforcement officers and US soldiers so much that he's always making them look either incompetent or corrupt?

I don’t know but that’s really annoying. Like when the US government was so incompetent that they needed to hire an elite force of the worst criminals in Suicide Squad. Or when they let a superpowered vigilante run rampant and destroy a million dollar piece of government equipment in Man Of Steel. And that time that an entire secret organization was actually a bunch of terrorists in Winter Soldier. You’re totally right. All comic book movies really have a problem with law enforcement.

LE is not trained to handle alien invasions and showing they were in over their head doesn't suggest incompetence, just reality. Evacuate where, using which route and is that really better than going to ground lest you send some wandering into a crossfire? Cap had better intel and an action plan, they were wise to listen to him.
I will say this though, I really liked how Simonson had the 82nd Airborne parachute in circa Thor #350 to fight alongside the Asgardians when Surtur's army invaded. I would like to see more of that sort of thing in the movies myself, but my mind doesn't jump directly to assuming hatred on Feige's part, especially considering the military background of so many of the characters he (they) chose to feature.

Was the flerken lame? You know, Goose? It just seems like a lame alien concept best left to the pages of a comic which Marvel isn’t proud of.

I’m calling it. Rocket will be in love with the flerken in a future film. I’m just glad that sicko James Gunn won’t write it.

Well I love cats so I liked Goose a lot, but it definitely wasn’t the star of the movie like people were saying. And I thought the fact that it was the reason for Fury’s eye was pretty lame.

Yeah I like cats too but was is it a believable alien or just an out of place gimmick? The best I could say is you could easily remove the cat from the story completely and it’d be fine.

Not sure if this has been discussed but it just occurred to me Stan Lee was playing himself in this film.
