Wow! That's ... Wow! I hope they do it properly, with good directors, writers and production values. I read the book many years ago and I don't remember all that much about it, but Gabriel Garcia Marquez is probably my favourite writer, so I will watch it as soon as it comes out.

I read a bit more about this project. Apparently one of the conditions that the family imposed is that it be made in Colombia with a Latin American cast and spoken in Spanish. That's an encouraging sign.
