Could because of the audience. Some people don't belong at the movies but in a zoo.

We are going to see it when it comes out on Foxtel and DVD @red . I am looking forward to seeing it and have heard it is supposed to be good but as some members already know on here we never go to see superhero movies at the cinemas. I love seeing how successful it has been despite all the tantrums and boycotts the sexists have been throwing online and they have found out just how little power they have over the success of a movie. Do you and Bec have a nice big t.v Deb and home theater set up? Hi @Toasted Cheese . It is nice to see you on here. Yes. Beccy and I have a big TV in and home theatre with surround sound in our lounge room we use to watch movies and we play our albums through that too and can dance around the room playing them. We also have a big TV in our bedroom and we had to replace one of our TVs last year and got a bigger one.

Do you not go because of the price? AMC is $6 before 12, thats when I go and I bring our own drinks Could because of the audience. Some people don't belong at the movies but in a zoo. This. It is not the price that is a problem. Although I will say the prices have gone up a lot here over the past 20 years and there are some movie theatres in Sydney that charge ridiculous that we would pay to see a concert or a music festival but not for a movie but we have had some bad experiences going to see superhero movies in the past such as people carrying on silly, fighting and talking loud and making it close to impossible to enjoy the movie and where we live superhero movies just seem to attract that type of crowd so we don't go to the movie theatres to see them anymore. We do go to see other movies though and take my nieces to see movies too and we will definitely be going to see 'Frozen 2' this year and can't wait to see it!!

Thing I always find is not so much CBM's but things like the Bay Transformer films always drew annoying crowds, I took my cousin to see all the Bay films because he liked Transformers and well they weren't unwatchable to me, stupid but eh I like mindless entertainment, but every single time I took him we had some dickheads in the cinema who obnoxiously fake laughed at every stupid joke, and they are Bay films all the jokes are stupid and he doesn't realise how not funny he is so he has a lot of them, but everytime some arsehole acted that way or did that stupid yell advice to the characters, I find it cute when a child does it, a 18-20 year old with a face full of pubes they call a beard doing it isn't cute, I know atleast once I stood up and threatened to kick the shit out of whoever was doing it if they didn't shut up, my cousins adamant I did it every time however, not sure I believe him...but yeah cinema's way to expensive also, for me just to go and get a ticket it's £14 which is $18.50 US or $26 AU and that's not including any drink, popcorn or food after/before, used to be £15 paid for me and my cousin to get there, see the films and get back, and that's not even factoring in if it's 3d or not which is even more, I can buy the DVD for less, and watch it at home in my undercrackers and I don't need to worry about any annoying pricks bugging me, well except me cat if she wants tickles but I am always happy to oblige with a tickle so long as she don't dribble on me...damn cat.

I have been incredibly lucky because every-time I go to the movies I don't deal with large crowds or everyone is quiet and respectful. Maybe it's because I go early in the morning, when everyone else is at work or school. The only films I see in the afternoon are classic movies, which are either empty or have older crowds who believe in civility.

I can't say I have seen any of the 'Transformers' movie. I remember seeing the cartoon once when I was younger and some of my male friends used to have the 'Transformers' toys but from what I have heard about them they have been quite successful which is why they keep getting more sequels but there are a lot of people that say they are garbage and everything that is wrong with today's movies so it seems the opinion on them is very divided. What are the 'Transformers' about? I thought they were just toy cars that kids were playing with that come to life and turn into robots and had fights with each other. No. There are always dickheads out there that sadly spoil things for everybody and it doesn't matter where you go these days you will always come across a few of them but with superhero movies in movie theatres it is just not worth it and I don't mind waiting until they come out on Foxtel and DVD. With Foxtel getting more and more movies that are in theatres at the same time it will probably only be a matter of time before you can watch DC and Marvel movies on Foxtel too the same week they come out and while I like going to movie theatres to see some movies I think they will eventually become a thing of the past like video shops and all movies will just debut on TV and online.
