Right so... Finally got round to watching it the now.
It really is just standard Scream type stuff, hard to tell the difference.
Watchable I guess, but not really my cup of tea.
5/10

I didn't mind the second movie with Jennifer Morrison out of 'Once Upon A Time' as the main star but the third one, 'Bloody Mary' was very disappointing in my opinion and I remember reading somewhere 'Urban Legend' was originally meant to have as many sequels as 'Final Destination' got and was going to be an ongoing Horror franchise throughout the 00s but the failure of the third killed all the plans they had for it and they decided to put it on the shelf. I heard there are plans to reboot the franchise but nothing is official yet. I thought that the 2nd one had it's moments and I will not talk about the 3rd one. Yeah. The third one is better left forgotten. It was basically the equivalent of 'The Crow: Wicked Prayer' which killed the movie franchise too when there were originally going to be six movies.

"Ghosts of Goldfield" was meant to be another sequel. But it's just as well they decided against it. It's an alright lower budget B movie. Not glossy enough to be an "Urban Legend" movie tho in my opinion.

I agree but I am surprised it didn't end up getting the 'Urban Legend' title 'cause there have been other Horror movie franchises that have had entries that have strayed so far away from the first movie you wonder how they even keep the titles like 'Silent Night, Deadly Night' which went from being about a serial killer dressed up as Santa Claus to a demonic cult kidnapping women so their leader could impregnate them with his demonic offspring. I remember seeing that one ages ago and wondering how it still had the same title but I think the studios were using it to get people to watch it.
