A friend of mine says he just wants to make it through life as unscathed as possible and without hurting anyone else in the process. He's a cool dude. Ha. That's my philosophy EXACTLY. Me and your friend ought to see about starting some sort of commune. The correct way to say this is "Your friend and I". Not "Me and your friend".

Hey, don't you have a date with a couple of 'good ole nigrah boys' down in "the kwatah", knocking down a few Colt 45's, while reminiscing about how Leroy is sorry his great grandpappy got lynched, even though he knows he deserved it? I'm sure there's a lot of errors in that 'run on sentence'. "Can you help a brother out"? Glad you took time out to correct my grammar, though. Thanks.

Personally im tired of this question and kinda dumb. Dont think it will be answered for a very looooong time, until we exactly know how the universe was created. Even then, it may just lead to a never-ending wider reality. from planets to systems to galaxies and so forth. Just believe in yourself, family and society and general balance and well-being.

Well, sure, but life is intrinsically dumb and tiresome.

I disagree. If you want to be focused and efficient, you need to decide what your number one goal is. Otherwise you will flailing inefficiently in different directions.

To be in a state of grace as without that you can't reach Heaven and getting to Heaven is the point of life here on earth in a very basic sense because life here is a test to see whether we ultimately choose good over evil and that determines whether we ultimately end up in Heaven(good) or hell(bad). only a fool would say otherwise.
but given many ignore that truth nowadays, for many it's all about getting as much as one can in this life since many thing this life is all their is but they are sadly mistaken.

My goal is the maximum attainment of happiness and pleasure. And the maximum avoidance of unhappiness and displeasure. And I believe, whether they know it or not, that is most people's goal.

What is the number one goal of humans? I say it is the maximum attainment of happiness and pleasure. And the maximum avoidance of unhappiness and displeasure. What do you think? Do you mean goals due to egocentric notions of human self, or really about purpose of being?
What you describe is more about hedonistic pleasure and avoidance and\or denial of suffering which only perpetuates more pain.
No. Hedonism is short term (immediate) attainmentment of pleasure, which almost always results in self-destruction. Maximum attainment of happiness and pleasure --- in the long and short term --- includes sacrifice and discipline.
