Why should that be a goal? You wouldn't understand. Always a great way of saying that you don't know.

What is the number one goal of humans? I say it is the maximum attainment of happiness and pleasure. And the maximum avoidance of unhappiness and displeasure. What do you think? I agree. Though I'd say the second of those is a way to achieve the first, rather than a goal in itself. I never saw it that way. Life is - change, growth and risk. If your not experiencing those three things in the long term, you are not living. Life entails winning and losing, success and failure, happiness and unhappiness, pleasure and displeasure, etc. "Can't make an omelette without breaking a few eggs." "Whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger."
And "To each of our lives a little rain must fall." . . . are just hokey ways of saying unhappiness and displeasure are necessary and unavoidable parts of life. Elimination is unrealistic. And if it actually could be attained, unhealthy. So not so much elimination --- but minimization. Everything is relative - meaning those who experience unhappiness and displeasure are in a better position to appreciate and enjoy happiness and pleasure.

Yin and yang, how can you know what happiness is if you dont know what unhappiness is

I would say ultimately it is to glorify God. Also to love and to be loved.

I would say ultimately it is to glorify God. Also to love and to be loved. But why? Those who believe in God, want to glorify God for the benefits - His love and protection, and ultimately to go to Heaven. In other words, maximum attainment of happiness and pleasure. And maximum avoidance of unhappiness and displeasure.

The same as any other life form: to blindly reproduce itself as much as possible, even when that level of reproduction harms the environment around it. I don't know. More and more people are either having less children. Or no children. The goal of all species is to reproduce. period.
With that said, reproduction goes beyond having children. It may go to generations yet unborn. By having fewer children those that are born have a better life and a better chance of reproducing themselves. Which is better for passing on one's genes: six children living in poverty, or three children with a college education?

If so, how come I never wanted children? Yes, instinctually animals with inferior intelligence are driven to reproduce. But humans are different.

Also goes to show that natural selection works. As you dont want children, your genes dont get passed on. Now there's more of a chance for people to want children. It's a sad reality but nature is brutal, actually indifferent

There is not one number one goal for humans.
Even psychologists like Maslow or Reiss disagree on what's important for humans. Therefore, it can only be subjective, and on a case by case basis.

To have satisfactory bowel movements.
That's it.
Also, to have a purpose but at the same time not be too invested in that purpose.
IMO this Universe has the same function as a fireworks display.

like a lawyer churning butter on a fat farm
it felt just like a lawyer churning butter on a fat farm when the estate was almost settled after a year of playing guess who's shuffling the market rate accounts while magically financing their second vacation home.
sjw 10/14/19 inspired at this very moment in time by well these things cost don't ya know.
