If they do have an "ANGEL" Relaunch then I really Really REALLY hope that they will bring back Eliza Dushku as 'Faith' in it.
That would be So Freaking AWESOME!!! It's definitely something I would be on board with, but I don't believe they're headed in that direction. Yeah, I know that it is a real long shot.
LOL, I think that it's still nice to think about and hope for though!

One of the all time great action heroes period. This. I've adored Sigourney Weaver for decades, and Aliens is one of the best action movies ever made. Definitely top of the heap.

I would definitely count her Anthony. Faith was an awesome character and I always wanted to see a 'Faith' spinoff show. Have you heard 'Angel' is coming back? David said they are working on something big and a lot of sites I have read are saying it could be a movie or a continuation TV show and if it returns I think there is a good chance Faith could be in it. Oh, She Absolutely Positively Most Definitely Better Be In It! I think she will be if they go through with a continuation series or movie. She is a very popular character and Eliza has said in recent interviews she would play Faith again so it is highly possible if it comes to fruition.

David said they are working on something big and a lot of sites I have read are saying it could be a movie or a continuation TV show and if it returns I think there is a good chance Faith could be in it. I'd have liked to have seen a Faith spin-off series as well, but I thought Dollhouse ultimately succeeded in giving Eliza Dushku a belated chance to play the role of the main hero. The early episodes were forgettable, but that show really took off as it developed. Not on the same level as Buffy the Vampire Slayer, obviously, but still solidly entertaining. And I for one hadn't heard anything about an Angel relaunch. Gonna have to research that now. It is a shame a 'Faith' spinoff series never went through. I remember when I first heard about it 'Buffy' was still on air and Eliza was said to have turned it down for 'Tru Calling' 'cause she wanted to do something different and then that show only ended up going for two seasons before it was cancelled. It would have been interesting to have seen what they would have done with the character in it and if they had moved some other 'Buffy' characters over to it too. I heard a rumour Spike was originally going to be in it before they put him in 'Angel' but I am not sure if that is true. I think a 'Faith' show could work now with it being set years later and they could say Faith gave up being a slayer for years and lived a normal life and had a family until one day Buffy was killed or disappeared and a great evil is coming and Faith is the only one who can stop it leading to Faith having to become a slayer again. I would have Faith have an 8 or 10 year old too so she had to juggle being a slayer and a Mum making it very different than 'Buffy' was.
As for the 'Angel' relaunch I am not sure if it will go through or not. Some sites I have read believe it could be a continuation show or a movie and I would actually say they would be stupid not to bring it back with all the other shows like 'Full House', 'Will & Grace', 'Murphy Brown' and 'Veronica Mars' they have brought back and are planning to bring back 'cause both 'Buffy' and 'Angel' still have a very large fanbase and it would be guaranteed to get viewers and would probably be the most successful revival of all time.

Gina Carano in 'Haywire' Probably one of Michael Fassbender's best days of his life.

The big problem with an Angel relaunch is that David Boreanaz looks like a middle-aged man now (he's 50 now) and not the 30-something he was at the turn of the century. Explaining his aged appearance would be a complication that would need to be resolved from the outset. The Faith spin-off you've proposed could work, but I can't see Joss getting heavily involved in a new Buffyverse project.

The Heroic Trio Invisible Girl (Michelle Yeoh), Wonderwoman (Anita Mui), and Thief Catcher (Maggie Cheung). I have never seen that movie before lostinlimbo . What is that like that? Is it an Action or Horror movie? It’s pretty much a futuristic action-fantasy, and the first film “The Heroic Trio” is crazy fun. Typical martial arts, with dynamic stunts, colourful costumes and an industrial/rural backdrop. For some reason, and I can’t put my finger on why, but I get ‘Tank Girl’ vibes in spite of their differing tones. The sequel “Executioners”, set some time after the original is a post-apocalyptic story. Its a touch darker and heavy on dramatic themes. Still a good follow-up with some real nice looking set-pieces.

I'd place her more in the same category as Laurie Strode in Halloween '78. Not really a superhero or action hero, but a horror movie Final Girl-type.

I do think that in a small way though, Sidney Prescott is close to being a Female Action Hero.
That said, Thank You for Answering and letting me know.
