That's too bad. I wouldn't mind Captain Boomerang reappearing. Jai Courtney was legitimately entertaining.

I’m pretty sure they don’t mean “reboot” in the sense that the film is in a different universe. Even Thor: Ragnarok was referred to as a “soft reboot”, even though it obviously was still part of the MCU.

I don't believe anything these people say until I see the movies myself. People keep calling Jason Reitman's Ghostbusters movie a reboot, and now the producer of the Transformers movies confirmed that they are making a sequel to The Last Knight after saying last month that Bumblebee is a reboot.

I think the term reboot, in connection to movies needs to be banned because no one seems to understand what it means.

Well if they are gonna bring back Viola Davis and Margot Robbie then it is still in the same universe.

Well I hope it’s better. The first is alright but not the movie we wanted.

Making Jai Courtney legitimately entertaining is one of the greatest cinematic achievements of all time.

Making Jai Courtney legitimately entertaining is one of the greatest cinematic achievements of all time. I like him better than most myself anyway. He's way better suited for more villainous roles or antiheroic parts. He's good in The Exception with Christopher Plummer and Lily James. And he's literally playing a Nazi in that one!

I was hoping for a sequel with the same cast and team, with a couple new additions. Oh well, im sure Gunn will make something special.

Here's how to fix the current DCU... DCU needs to be uninhabitable for at least the next 4-6 years.

I believe this is a reboot in the same way that is what is happening with the Transformers franchise, where Bumblebee is rebooting the movie series so the next Transformers movie after it will be a sequel to The Last Knight which will reboot the Transformers movie series.
