By not being in them. Yes I agree.
By being in them she gives the movies something, unlike that stupid alien cat in Capt Marvel
Did you just compare an actress to a cat?

Black Widow?
Or maybe Gamora? I didn't care for Gamora at all originally but she was improved. Nebula ain't too bad either now.

Quake. But she has the advantage of starring in a long running TV show.

This is a tough call. I'd actually say Gamora (RIP) or maybe Nebula at this point.

Definitely not Nebula if you're limiting it to one film. Gamora in the first GoTG is still solid. I almost want to say Black Widow in the first Avengers is the best single film rendition of a female character in the MCU; but then I ask myself how that can be, considering I've always found MCU Widow blah compared to her comics version. Captain Marvel should be in the conversation, but I don't think she is. I hope she gets there. As of right now, I have to say it's a toss up between Gamora in GoTG and Black Widow in Avengers. Both are fairly well written with hints at their respective mysterious backstories, though I'd say ScarJo's overall performance is superior.

I feel embarrassed that I never even considered her.
