They kind of used most of her familiar opponents in the same movie. Unless the skrulls turn bad.

Unless the skrulls turn bad. she actually had run-ins with Galactus & Kang The Conqueror though it appears most want those two saved for the next Avengers team up! she also fought Ronan The Accuser in the comics though it maybe too soon to use him again since he already appeared in Guardians. and had a small cameo in the first Captain Marvel film

Here's my idea: make an X-movie instead!!!1 Kidding aside, I'm going to be pissed if they do the Rogue power theft in the MCU, I always hated that story in the comics. Unless it happens during a sex scene with the two actresses. Then I'm down.

I would be thrilled beyond belief if that were the end of the CM character, and the last we ever saw of Brie was lying comatose in that hospital bed. Innit?

And she wakes up in the hospital with Deadpool holding her hand, watching her music video for She Said. I could be talked into that. What always bothered me about that storyline (and it happened before got into comics so it's kind of funny that it annoyed me after the fact in back issues) wasn't just that it ruined Ms. Marvel, but why did someone with a ridiculous powerset already (Rogue) also need super strength and flight? Couldn't they just come up with a new character? At the very least Rogue should've lost her absorbing powers. It's just lame when one character has that much power.

"Nah, it's not." Er -- all kidding aside, I see where you're coming from, but in the case of Rogue I think it makes her so much more interesting than either she or Miss/Captain Marvel were beforehand. Her power set now included flight and (depending on the comic or cartoon) essentially invulnerability. So she's basically a female Clark who can never have human contact. I feel like, if done well, that can be compelling; e.g., ETA: ^I mean, wouldn't you rather have a movie about that? I would.

I feel like, if done well, that can be compelling; e.g., Her original powerset definitely made her a compelling character. The added super strength/invulnerability just seemed unnecessary. Those were the glory years of the X-Men for me though, I'll say that. My sincere hope is that Marvel/Disney understands that while some fans (such as myself) didn't like what Fox did with the X-Men for the most part, we at least appreciated they had a different voice than the Avengers. I'd like the X-Men to be a little darker than your average Avengers flick. Maybe Fall of the Mutants will make the big screen some day. I mentioned this in another thread but I'd love to see an entire phase devoted to 'Inferno.' X-centric (see what I did there?) storyline, but involving pretty much the entire Marvel catalog as New York is taken over by demons from Limbo. As with the actual event in the comics, each character or group could still follow their own adventures throughout, without realizing how it's affecting the wraparound story.

How about Talos make a surprise return at the climax of the movie and saves the day by turning into a filing cabinet which defeats the villain(s)?

Spoilers ahead!!! During the final battle, Talos turns into the Infinity Gauntlet! (Then he turns into a filing cabinet and Thor drops it on Thanos's HEAD.)
