charleyproject.org/case/cynthia-jane-andersonCindy Anderson’s case was on unsolved mysteries and has not been solved. Kind of disturbed me. A year before she vanished she had disturbing dreams of being abducted at knifepoint. She worked in a strip mall as a law clerk. Before she vanished on a wall facing her office someone spray painted I Love You Cindy by GW. It was then painted over but then someone spray painted it again even larger. No way that was a coincidence because it was pretty blatantly some kind of sick message to her because her window faced that wall. The police found no one she knew with those initials but a maintenance man with those initials had worked in that strip mall and Cindy’s office at one point and had keys to the office. In the unsolved mysteries show it said they could find no evidence that he had spray painted the message. Who was this man? And the day before she vanished a client saw Cindy get a phone call that really disturbed her and she hung up abruptly. On the day she vanished there were no signs of struggle and only Cindy her keys and purse were gone just vanished into thin air. I’m no criminologist but it seems to me that the second time that message had appeared on the wall it should have been a major alarm bell that someone was after her. Just based on the scant evidence it seems like someone she either knew or didn’t know or maybe had minimal inconsequential contact with had some perverse sick obsession with her and was stalking her and she had no idea how much danger she was in but her subconscious sensed it hence her bad dreams. Maybe premonitions? Not sure why they ruled out that maintenance man but after she vanished someone called saying she was being held somewhere but they never found her. This case is disturbing on many levels. 1981 was a long time ago but the circumstances of this case still very relevant always pay attention to your surroundings at all times and if something feels wrong take action! I hope Cindy is found and her family get answers someday.
