I think this television contraption is gonna be the next big thing! Maybe not as big as the wireless and Bakelite, but nevertheless still very big! It might even prove as big as DeSoto and Packard! Hell, it might even prove as big as nylon stockings!

LOL....it used to be. Once upon a time, the Seasons started in September, ended in May. In late August, we used to get the TV Guide which told us the new shows coming up, TV movies to expect, hell even the Christmas Specials. In other words, you knew what was on TV, when, where, and even when they would return after Christmas. Nowadays.....I don't have a clue if Blue Bloods is on this Friday....is the Season over? Is it coming back?
Then they turn around and cancel a show saying the ratings were low.....no wonder...people didn't even know it was on !!!

I gotta say, I know way more when something will be on now. True shows are cancelled out of nowhere if ratings aren't up to whatever arbitrary standard the network has set, but there are tons of commercials on television and all over the internet. When a show will air is just a simple google search away. It's how I caught up with Bones after years of not watching it.
