SAVE FERRIS I can't really think of anyone current who would have that effect on me. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure many of them are hard-working, skilled, talented and very deserving of their fame and riches... However, for the most part, those I admire most are no longer with us.

Maybe Stephen King. I feel like it’d be fun just to sit down and hear what he had to say. So long as it’s about shadow monsters and not politics.

Actually there's lots. I have lived in NYC and I used to bump into lots of actors. I almost always behaved.
Once I saw Stanley Tucci just walking down the street in times square. He was doing Frankie and Johnny on Broadway. I just asked if I could shake his hand. We did, he smiled, and we went on our way. My friend who was walking with me said "who was that?" LOL
But now, if I saw Gal Gadot I think I might totally freak out and try to hug her and kiss her face! LOL! Yeah, I'm pretty sure I would do that.

The thread is about the celebrity I would probably go most "fanboy" on... And although I'm sure many modern celebrities are hard-working, skilled, talented and very deserving of their fame and riches, they are not the ones I admire most... Like I said, most of them are now dead.

Dustin Hoffman. Adam Sandler and Jonah Hill beig close seconds.
But meeting Dustin Hoffman would probably make my heart race/stop/race/stop for a while. I wouldnt behave much different than I normally do on the outside but on the inside I think things would be happening.

I once ran into the actor that played Admiral Ackbar. I went all fanboy on him and he squirted me with his ink defenses.

All good choices in my opinion. While I think Fred Astaire was one of the most graceful Humans who ever lived, I think Gene Kelly had more raw energy and physical power. He could dance, sing and act. He was the classic triple threat. In fact, he defined what it was to be a triple threat. Of course, there are several other celebrities I'd be interested in meeting, from a number of professions. I'd even rate one or two of them as being my personal heroes.
