C'mon really?! Hey! I never watched 'Dragon Ball Z.' I know some people who watched it but when it aired here in the 90s I was far more interested in watching 'Pokemon' and I watched some of the 'Pokemon Knock-off, 'Digimon' which is still going now and I am surprised they were able to get away with making that without getting sued but 'Dragon Ball Z' never really stood out to me. When I first heard about it I thought it must have been a show about dragons that come out of balls or a dragon that was shaped like a ball
ROFLMAO AHAHAHAHAHHEEHEEHAHUHEEHUHAHAHAHEEHEEHUHUHOHOAHAHAHAHARDIHA Sorry couldnt help it. ok good, there outa my system. Fair enough, first one is a little closer though. A dragon does appear when you collect all 7 balls or something and then grants you some wishes but it's so much more than that. Pokemon and Digimon are undoubtedly great too. I kinda stopped after the original crew (Tai, Matt, Kari, Mimi etc) from digimon were replaced, maybe Ill watch it again some day or continue

There were 'Sonic' comic books and I got quite a few of them and some of the characters that joined the games were in the comic books first. There was also a comic book series of 'Sabrina the Teenage Witch' that was based on the TV Show and 'Sabrina' originated as a comic book series and the character was from 'Archie' but the show was slightly different than the comic books especially in the early years and the series based on the show had Melissa Joan Hart on the covers.

Manga Deb they are called Manga's Also the show and manga were made mostly in sync with each other, also Dragon Ball didn't really explode globally until DBZ and I think more specifically the debut of the Super Saiyan form which is the shows most iconic imagery.
For the name, I dunno makes about as much sense as most anime names, I mean you never heard of Bobobobobo...bobobo...bobo..bo? or Lucifer & the biscuit hammer?

Manga's are still considered a form of comic books from what I have heard and according to Google Mangas are comic books or graphic novels created in Japan so Japan just like to be different and stand out. What confuses me is some people's use of the term 'graphic novel' and I always saw graphic novels as being larger sized comic books or collections of multiple comic books 'cause that is what most of the ones I have are but then I have seen people use graphic novel to describe any comic book now and you have movies saying they are based on graphic novels which were long running comic book series. I think some people just prefer to use the name 'graphic novel' over 'comic book' 'cause it sounds flashier and comic book sounds immature to them but I don't know. I mostly buy graphic novels now and rarely buy comic books 'cause you get multiple comic books in a graphic novel and can read them all at once instead of only getting a few pages and having to wait for the next one and that is how I have been buying most of the DC Rebirth titles. I know you said you don't read comic books Dazz but have you heard much about DC Rebirth and what is going on with the latest storylines? Did you hear about the whole Tim Drake/Savior storyline? I liked the change from the Red Robin name and the new look and think they should make him Savior at some point but keep him good unlike the version of Tim Drake from the future. By the way, did you hear the Red Sonja movie is going through now? I am soo excited over that!!!!

Eh kind of feels like calling an anime a cartoon, technically I guess it is but it's also so much it's own thing that it isn't, but yeah the calling something one thing to make it sound more sophisticated is always funny, I love it with jobs, they are hilarious, I recall my cousin trying to pick up a girl once and she asked what he did and he told her "Oh I work at blah blah college" then she was like oh are you a teacher, you look a bit young don't you, and he told her "Actually I am the Section D Hygiene Maintenance Technician" or something similar so when she asked what does that mean I piped in by telling her he's the toilet cleaner, he was fucking furious but I just laughed my arse off.
Not really kept up with the comics tbh, I have just started watching some videos on a bunch of comics though, I don't have the focus to collect and read all the comics plus that shit can get costly, so watching youtube videos on the stuff can give me the broad strokes, I watched a series on the DC Rebirth but it's kind of going along bit by bit, a lot sounds kind of interesting, problem is also just how frequently shit seems to get rebooted whether as a whole or just individual runs, but some do seem pretty cool other not so much, last video I saw on Tim was him giving his life to save the others, but then he wasn't "dead" but he was taken out of the equation by whatever was behind the whole Rebirth thing, so god knows where that goes, and yeah no idea about Saviour or anything, I agree I like the name for him, better than Red Robin which from discussions I have heard when they rebooted stuff Tim being Red Robin lost a lot of meaning, as he was never a "Robin" despite Batman thinking of him as such, so instead of it being him moving on so Damian could be Robin Tim just goes fuck it I am Red Robin for no reason, but the name stinks imo, if you are going to have a normal Robin that is, if he was Robin but went by Red Robin to distinguish himself from the Dick & Jason version I get it, but if not it's just like why?
Heard about Red Sonia? Sonja? whatever, glad Singer isn't attached to it anymore, don't know if I recall hearing if they picked a new director though, but sounds cool enough, I only know of her from th movie back in the day and I dunno it was fine and fun and all I imagine the new film will be higher quality though, but I don't know anything about the character really to get too excited until I hear more details about the movie.
