Waitress has found its newest Dr. Pomatter. Jeremy Jordan, who is taking over the role from Joey McIntyre, will begin performances on April 8 opposite Shoshana Bean before concluding his run on May 12.
Last seen on Broadway opposite Kerry Washington in American Son, this marks Jordan’s first role back in a Broadway musical since he was nominated for a Tony Award in 2012 for his role in Newsies The Musical. His other Broadway credits include Bonnie and Clyde, West Side Story, and Rock of Ages.

Waitress opened on April 24, 2016 at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre. Based on the 2007 movie of the same name, it tells the story of Jenna, a “waitress and expert pie-maker who dreams of a way out of her small town and rocky marriage.”
