El Ray keeps showing this amusing documentary about cheap, trashy, 70s exploitation movies. My favorite line comes from one of the directors who says "First we ask our camera man how long will it take to get a great looking shot, then how long for a good looking shot, then how long to just get an image. Then we tell him "Just get an image!"
This seems to be the same thinking behind almost every new blockbuster I see. "Just get an image, who cares if the movie looks good?"
