How is this movie not more prominent?? Its such an amazing display of masterful acting, by both Eisenberg (he is doing his usual high-strung neurotic and arrogant half-prick, but he is still very good at it). But the rest of the cast is simply amazing. There is a scene in the woods that includes a lot of rage, and its so well done, I would nominate both of them for something just for that scene. A story about two cousins trying to best a big company and develop a faster technology that would allow them to make trades faster is like Big Short if Big Short forgot to take its serotonin pill. Its not the most cheerful movie but its captivating, well acted, and entertaining. The weakest point its the bit convoluted script that doesnt have the upside of naked Margot Robbie explaining stuff or "real story" behind it, so I really wonder what made the director make the choices that were made in this script, but even with the script being slightly weaker than the acting, I would still highly recommend seeing this movie. Alexander Skarsgaard showed he can be quite transformative and physical in his acting, and how is the amazing Michael Mando not a bigger star is beyond me. Plus you get shrill, bleached and tight clothes wearing Salma Hayek yelling at men on screen, whats not to like? 7.5/10 from me.

I'll definitely check this out. I've been a fan of Jesse Eisenberg since Adventureland.

I saw it yesterday and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I was surprised to find out that it's not (apparently) based on a true story, as it has all the hallmarks of one.
