Grab all of my most beloved items, as well as enough food and other things for survival. too late and now you are dead. why dont u have an escape bag already prepared like all normal people?

Honestly, where I live in Canada, there isn't really any natural disaster waiting to happen or happening on a yearly basis like tornadoes, hurricanes, earthquakes, flood, whatever. My realistic concern would be a mass EMP attack on North America from the likes of Russia, China, or North Korea. We wouldn't be dead, we'd just be living without power & most infrastructure which would be very not great.

I think we've already concluded on a different thread that it will be a Cat Shit Apocalypse, nothing to do with zombies. Cat Shit Apocalypse? BFD, I have one of those every day at my house. Rescue groups have got that procedure down pat.

It would just be a world of scuk. No job to go to, no gas to fill the car, no refrigeration. I'd maybe go camping in my backyard for 72hrs off the grid & see if things turn on later.

my friends and i have a shelter we would go to. its underground, has food, own source of water, antibiotics, generator, radio and ... some guns. and we each already have a role assigned of what we would do there and who brings what value. #prepared You're full of it. You live in NYC. There's no shelters there. And If its not in NYC, by the time you fought through the mad rush of traffic and mobs to get there, you'd be dead. People in large cities are doomed. They'd all kill one another.

It may be creeping up on people or spreadinn slowly or not be believed by many at first... so it wont be about how fast you need to get somewhere but if u have somewhere to go. You can never be prepared for everything and yea if we are talking about a nuke i am doomed. but a zombie apocalypse? thats a diff thing. #prepared

Then maybe.

Then maybe. those shops and hospitalls would be useless pretty quickly if real shit went down. the advantage will be held by those who have a shelter that a) is not known/visible b) has its own source of water and ideally also energy and communication lines at least primitive ones and c) has a doctor and medical necessities in the group and d) has weapons and food already stocked So yeah, if its a nuke or a sudden chemical attack on NYC then I am fucked but if its a slowly spreading virus/zombie infection/ our intergallactic overlords chosing their next human sacrifice or there is a race or religion war (which rarelly happens in a way that affects a big region all at once) I feel like I am fairly well prepared. In a way that no I cannot be sure I survive but I feel marginally better and like I have done what I could.

I would just like to say I welcome our new zombie alien overlords and I look forward to working with them to wipe out any and all Human scum who might try to oppose them.
