Eλευθερί Tried it .. researched it … bought the one that seemed the best for me (not the As Seen on TV one) love it .. wished had bought one sooner. Great Home Made Fries … (imo) Maybe not for everyone. There's some extra steps that improve the result that had to be worked out. Making from scratch not the same as from store bought frozen.

Home made in an Air Fryer …. Sweet Potato Fries are the absolute best but those made from fresh white potatoes are superior to any store bought frozen or restaurant fries. But are they really french fries if they aren't cooked in oil? (And is a taco a sandwich?) Are you serious...? It's potatoes and oil. As long as you have good quality ingredients and know how to cook, what the hell does what country they are made in make any difference? It's totally irrelevant. Exactly. You have nothing to say because there is nothing to say, except I guess admitting it was a dumb question that made no sense.

I quoted you because you seemed to agree that deep-frying in oil was an essential part of the definition of a french fry. I didn't previously respond to your remark because why get into an argument? There's a huge variety of french fries out there, many of them--even sold by professional cooks--pretty bad. Anyone who isn't aware of this or who doesn't care isn't worth arguing with over the issue.

What’s the difference? Not all French fries are cut the same.
