No. What I would much rather do, is bring them home, put them into an aquarium, and add tiny things into their shells, so that pearls can be formed inside of them. It would be less hassle to just buy your wife a pearl necklace. I'm a woman, Gameboy!!!!

Oh, sorry. For some reason I always thought you were a man. My bad. I never knew you thought that. And you've known me online for about 5 years too.

I never knew you thought that. And you've known me online for about 5 years too. Yeah, you have the lady symbol and everything. Your posts have never been gender specific. Is there anything particularly gender-like, about posting messages?

Is there anything particularly gender-like, about posting messages? Nah, but there are female posters who make it well known they're women. The ending -ium struck me as Latin masculine. Clusium was my old user ID from back when I used to post on Yahoo.com My father thought of it, from a book about poems. It is the name of a town in Italy, apparently.

Yes. That reminds me, I have an unopened can of smoked oysters I bought months ago I still haven’t eaten. You can always give them to Heeeeey... she can add them to her "old food" collection. lol

Yes. That reminds me, I have an unopened can of smoked oysters I bought months ago I still haven’t eaten. Smoked and packed in oil they should be good. I usually eat them in one go. It’s easier than eating some and refrigerating the rest.

I do. Wouldn't eat a ton and run up stairs, though.

I would rather starve. Yuck. Do you mean raw oysters, or any oysters, no matter how they're cooked? As other posters here have commented, fried, smoked or otherwise cooked oysters are pretty good. I've had them rolled in bread crumbs and fried in butter - I must say that's pretty delicious. But, I would never eat them raw. Just doesn't appeal to me.

I hate seafood and even thinking of eating oysters makes want to vomit. I tried them raw as a kid and actually cried lol

That's right. I forgot you're vegetarian. I ate a vegan diet for almost a year, years ago. I lost too much weight and I've always been skinny anyway so that wasn't good. Not vegan, although I like vegan foods. I don't think it is a very healthy diet, especially for someone like me with a strong digestive fire. I'm lacto-ovo, so dairy and eggs are a big staple. The Guatemalan would have been very nourishing, (sounds like a vegetable). I think being an omnivore is most healthy --- and most fun. But everybody is different. My diet changes with my lifestyle. The more exercise and physical labor I do, the more meat and carbohydrates I need. The less physical activity, the less meat and carbs I need. I can understand some chick with a cushy life and little to no exercise, being a vegetarian.
