I think being an omnivore is most healthy --- and most fun. But everybody is different. My diet changes with my lifestyle. The more exercise and physical labor I do, the more meat and carbohydrates I need. The less physical activity, the less meat and carbs I need. I can understand some chick with a cushy life and little to no exercise, being a vegetarian. I do plenty of exercise and activity, but I haven' eaten meat for about 19yrs now and have never really felt the necessity too either. What I miss most about meat, is the texture, but that is something that can be substituted. Mushrooms are a staple and the vegetarian diet I keep to suits me. I can get carbs from other sources and I love potatoes and most vegetables. I tried to go vegan about 10 years ago. I was doing a physical labor job. I couldn't do it. I was wasting away, getting weaker, and getting sick. When I re-introduced meat back into my diet, my bulk and strength returned.

never had one and the smell and texture of it repulses me. Definitely. The sight of one tickles the gag reflex. 🤮

Voted no, but I have no idea if they taste disgusting, but they don't look appetizing. I remember a Sylvester Stallone movie in which he said they look like something from a bad cold.

I tried them once and they barely had any taste. But I would like to try them again someday.

True vegans won't even eat honey, because it is the food source of the bees. A bit precious me thinks. I wasn't. Maybe I used the wrong term. I don't believe I cut all meat out. I was just eating less and less when I was retired and/or was doing office work. It was fine then. But when I returned to physical labor, I needed more protein, carbs, fat, sodium, fast food and junk food (cholesterol).

Do you mean raw oysters, or any oysters, no matter how they're cooked? As other posters here have commented, fried, smoked or otherwise cooked oysters are pretty good. I've had them rolled in bread crumbs and fried in butter - I must say that's pretty delicious. But, I would never eat them raw. Just doesn't appeal to me. I hate seafood You just mean the weird seafood, right? Like oysters, mussels, octopus, squid, shrimp and crab etc right? If so, I agree. But surely you don't hate normal fish?

No. I have never tried oysters before. I am mostly a Vegetarian but I eat some seafood like fish, prawns, seafood sticks and calamari rings but I have just never liked the look of oysters and I have heard you have to be careful eating them 'cause if they are off they can make you very sick.
