Maybe it can function like an audience participation screening like with Rocky Horror. How fun would it be to yell and throw things at the screen?

Seeing it once in the theaters was enough for me.

Mixed feelings. On the one hand, it's a hot steaming pile of shit. On the other, so much memetic possibilities.

Well in that case I’d rather have 89 and Returns on 4K than the other two, but I can see why they would do it for all of them.

I'm not a graphic designer, but why wouldn't you go with a blue hue on this cover? It's like whatever this movie tries to do, you can always count on it to misstep. I kind of love it for that, but come on.

Ah. My least favourite movie of all time is getting re-released. I'm going to have to organise some pickets.

Do Fathom Events actually have a screener if the movie or do they just project the Blu ray onto the screen?

I can understand re-releases for 'so bad they're good' films or bad films which have a cult following... but Batman & Robin is, from what I recall, a complete bore, and doesn't even have camp value. Does anybody actually have any interest in sitting through this thing again?

Does anybody actually have any interest in sitting through this thing again? It definitely has camp value for me and is definitely not a bore. It also definitely has a following of fans who enjoy it because it's so goofy. I actually just re-watched Batman & Robin for the 4th time recently and still mildly enjoy it for being "so bad in such a silly way." Arnold is legit awesome in it as far as I'm concerned. It's one of the all time greatest campy performances imo. The art direction and score are actually quite good. The only two aspects of the movie I actually hate are Batgirl and Bane.

Sheesh. Ha! What do I know? This one is also a puzzler because niether character really does much with blue in this movie. I always thought "Batman 89" had a cool look with the browns and yellow/orange highlights (the emblem, scenes with fire, tons of wood paneling in the sets, desaturated views of the city and what not). Even more coincidental is the use of the location of Axis Chemicals. It was also used in "Aliens" which had all those Cameron-blues we know and love (I like them anyway). It was interesting to seem the same location lit and filmed with a different style (washed out charcoals and grays). Nevertheless, that's a pretty slick cover. Don't know if it was intentional, but I like the Joker appearing to be like a cartoon devil on Batman's shoulder.
