Only one type of movie freaks me out - movies that involve 'The Devil' and cults.
Won't watch some again.
That being said - what are some creepy ones out there that deserve mention?
Some of my favorites I'll watch again and own:
The Last Exorcism Exorcist III Devil (M Night Shy) The Devil's Advocate End of Days
Go!

I regard rosemary's baby as the most overrated movie of All-Time - however the ending disturbed me.
just like 'The Wicker Man' - these are 2 movies I can not watch again (possibly the only 2 - because I found the ending too disturbing)

I forgot Prophecy I, II and III with Christopher Walken - i.e. good Angels vs. Bad and the Devil played a role - tremendous and highly underrated - Walken is one of my favorite actors and he makes this movies worth a watch for his presence alone.

End of Days. Gabriel Byrne was fantastic as the Devil/Satan! Arnold's a plus too as I thought it was one of his more real performance as a human being instead of just an action hero.

I'd agree with that. I actually did enjoy that movie, but it was also really stupid. But it's good looking and Gabriel Byrne is having a good time throughout.

any love for Angel Heart on here?
have had it recommended - DeNiro I guess with a cameo and mickey Rourke - apparently based down in the New Orleans voodoo setting - thinking I may like it

I'm going to bend the rules a bit and say The Usual Suspects. It's possible Keyser Soze was Satan, and there's that famous line "The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he did not exist."

I haven't gotten around to it, but it sounds good and has a good pedigree in front of and behind that camera.

One thing interesting about Devil movies is that there hasn't been a movie where the Devil completely loses since perhaps The Devil Rides Out (or maybe To The Devil A Daughter--although since the rescued girl is supposedly a Devil's disciple is it really a happy end?). In every Devil movie since, the Devil wins or at least gets a big sacrifice. End of Days is an example--he loses but it means the main character has to die. Ditto for that Demi Moore film The Seventh Whatever. The Devil's Advocate--it might seem like a loss similar to Daniel Webster but hard to be sure since it may have been all part of the devil's scheme to get at Keanu through the sin of pride.
Other films like the Mephisto Waltz or the Ninth Gate are based on playing along with the Devil's schemes.

I enjoyed "The Devil's Partner". Like a lost "Twilight Zone".
