This is why I (as a Christian) don't enjoy Hollywood movies like I used to. I can't watch them without being reminded of things like this. You thought this was going to be another thread about the Third Temple, didn't you? Don't worry. There's more of that on the way.

Seriously I call bullshit. As if any child who appears in a film is not being pushed and exploited. So can you give me the solution? Should children never be displayed in film? How the hell can art depict the story? CGI children maybe? When I was a child I don't think I would have liked being closed up in a box with nowhere to sit except on a block of ice. That's abuse.

Fortunately these days there are extremely strict laws regarding the employment and treatment of children ( and animals) in the movie making business.

That's why we need more actors with whatever disease Andy Milonakis has, we could just have 30 year old men playing 12 year olds

How the hell can art depict the story? Have independent adults supervise the treatment of the children while they are working. Of course this won’t completely stop the abuse but it should reduce it.

As I said above, that is what happens these days and is legislated mostly by law. My great niece who is an up and coming actress, found it very annoying when she was 17, making movies and was fortunate to have an understanding 'mentor'. She thankfully turned 18 just before she started making a new movie series with Tim Minchin in the Australian outback and was allowed to be 'grown up'. There are also laws about the treatment of animals these days. No more trip wires in Westerns on the horses.
