RT has shown to be unreliable and deceitful ever since that Captain Marvel debacle and them messing with the audience scores.
There was some people who liked the film. Even they admitted that the film had a lot of flaws but they still enjoyed it.
But, it's ultimately up to you on whether you want to see it or not.

I mean I thought RT was usually inflated if anything. I mean all the Avengers movies were in the 90%'s which was just ridiculuous. it felt like they had to vote high otherwise they'd be a party pooper.

They give those films high scores in order fulfill a quota. When Captain Marvel came out last month, they removed the audience score for that film because they saw that a lot of people didn't want to see the film due to problems with the character and the actress portraying the character. They've manipulated the system and rigged the numbers in order to protect that film. It's despicable.

From what I've read about it , its a total trainwreck . I do agree that RT isn't always reliable but this Hellboy remake is apparently so pointless and offers nothing new or cool other than being gory for the sake of being gory. I'm definitely passing on this shit. Plus, the actor they got to play Hellboy doesn't come close to the charm and charisma that Ron Perlman had (just from reading the reviews I've come across) .

Unfortunately, the film sounds like it should've been given more time and had a crew that should've been on the same page. I still want to see it, though. You don't have to see it. I've heard that a few people did like the film and liked Harbour's performance as Hellboy.

I didn’t realize the director was Neil Marshall, love him, shame the movie is bad.

Sounds like this decade’s Spawn. Which is extremely unfortunate. And that makes me concerned for the Spawn reboot.

I did not think Hellboy was that bad. it had some funny lines, nice amount of gore, even some good acting and moral conflicts. pretty entertaining overall 6 out of 10.
