I never saw the trailers but there is an old interview of GRRM in which he speaks of the power struggle around the throne which keeps people from paying attention to the threats coming from outside, fire and ice. He doesn't clearly spell it out, of course, yet he basically reveals, in plain sight, that Daenerys is one of two enemies to come, as was exposed at the very beginning of the story. In the first episode, the same is announced: we see that White Walkers are not gone and we learn that the Targaryen exiles are planning to invade with an army of savages. These are the two enemies, spelled out for all to see from the very start. Then Daenerys comes and makes no mystery of being an invader without any other purpose but to throw down whatever is in her way. She's "going to break the wheel", she says, and never speaks of making things better. Those around her do, but she never confirms. Her purpose is merely to break all possible resistance, just like Lenin causing inflation (and famine) to destroy all alternative sources of power in Russia after 1917 by destroying the value of money. This is what Daenerys fans are about: most of them are the idiots who don't see it, then there are those who want it. I also want to ask you about the message the NK left on the wall for the living he made this sympol or sign out of a little boy's body parts I know really gross I think the sympol looked like the Targaryens sigil ?? What do you think about that ?? What message is NK sending them ?? It's the same pattern they've been illustrating in such grisly manner since (at least) the attack on the Night's watch at the Fist of the First Men. Similar patterns were found in the caves at Dragonstone presumably drawn by The Children of the Forest and/or their First Men allies. I don't know what connection it could have to the Targaryens, they've only been in Westeros for hundreds of years, the White Walkers haven't been seen for thousands of years, eight thousand if I recall correctly.

Reading your post made me think of something is there a possibility Since NK and Dany are the true enemies to the living NK turns Dany into a night queen and they attack the living ? I don't think so. I suspect, without compelling evidence, that the authors are out to replace the traditional fight between good and evil with the new "democratic" fight between the middle and the extremes. Wherever you look in Western Europe or North America, you see moderate left and moderate right parties arranging themselves to share power or take turns at it, sometime with some true, classical liberal middle in between, and either openly or tacitly agree to stand together against their outer fringes. A Song of Ice and Fire is about these two extremes and will end with the middle Stark and middle Lannister rejecting them.

A Song of Ice and Fire is about these two extremes and will end with the middle Stark and middle Lannister rejecting them. Bran and Jaime? All of them. All Starks and all Lannisters are essentially of the "middle", no extremists, although the question is open for Arya and Tyrion has to oppose Daenerys. The latter will happen because Tyrion was the one shown to contradict her the most already. Arya can also come back, that was the point of the "Mercy" name choice in S6.

Oh wow I didn't read that interview and you're right he does reveal it, got chills reading your synopsis because it's spot on , I didn't even see it that way early on started out as Dany fan and then season 2 everything changed for me I started seeing a cruler side to Dany and I didn't like it at all the way she locked up at that vault one of the girls who took care of her and taught her how to be with khal in bed etc ..she just locked her up with no remorse and ofcourse as her dragons grew so did her madness ,even back in season 1 her brother was an idiot but there was an episode she saved his life from a drothraki fighter when he attacked her in the fields and then a few episodes later I think she let her husband kill her brother literally melt his head and she didn't even blink only said he was no dragon fire cannot kill a dragon ...if she supposed to be this innocent sweet naive person like some Dany delusional fans think they are in for a big awakening , most Dany fans want her to kill everyone including Jon and rule be the boss as they say or they want Dany to marry Jon and have two cute babies one with silver hair and one with Curley black hair LMAO Reading your post made me think of something is there a possibility Since NK and Dany are the true enemies to the living NK turns Dany into a night queen and they attack the living ? They will have no choice but join forces and ask help from cersei golden company to fight their common enemy ! Maybe the leaked photos of Jon talking with cersei is about that ?? I also want to ask you about the message the NK left on the wall for the living he made this sympol or sign out of a little boy's body parts I know really gross I think the sympol looked like the Targaryens sigil ?? What do you think about that ?? What message is NK sending them ?? So Dany killed the people responsible for the deaths of so many of her soldiers and her other main handmaiden. That shows she is mad? And she told her brother the next time he raised a hand to her would be his last. Not only did he raise his hand to her, but he raised his sword to her arms threatened to cut out her baby. Neither of these show she is mad. then answer me this why is she pissed jamie killed her mad father? why is she bringing up the brother she helped killed and some stories she told her as a child? shes doesn't make sense she hated her brother so much she named one of her dragons after him which in result that same dragon was awakening something her brother warned her not to do which is awake the dragon . Dany never saved anyone that doesnt serve her.

( a targ) or maybe he is trying to warn mankind of what is to come FIRE

I can't wait. I just hope we get transported to coming Sunday.
It's the greatest TV serial I have ever seen. I only watch old European and Japanese movies and Golden age Hollywood. This is the only TV series I care about and according to my estimate I might have spent 750 hours of my life on it/books.

Remember what Jon quoted Ned Stark on to Sansa, 'everything before the word 'but' is horseshit.' That teaser is not the whole scene, I suspect a 'but' is coming as she knows why Jaime killed Aerys.

They don't serve out of fear, they serve in gratitude for manumission or out of respect. The Dothraki respect nothing more than power and Dany showed them who had the most power in that room.

She burned khals in their sacred lands maybe some drothraki respect savages and power but not all them there bowing when she emerged from the flames in admiration some were bowing out of fear and wonder please click and watch the scene video when she burned the khals end of the clip Dario has a confused and worried look on his face Similar expression when Dany gave her speech on her dragon to the drothraki ,Dany showed a side to her that is dark sinister and not human , it's not normal she can't burn just like the NK is not normal and look at danys face as she watches everyone bow she loves it and takes satisfaction in it .

The mother of dragons was sold to the Dothraki. She had no desire to serve in the Dosh Khaleen for the rest of her life. Likewise, she wasn't willing to be sold for a hundred horses, or passed around by the Khals. She went into that tent a prisoner. She exited the leader of all the Dothraki. But yes, hate her because she was happy about that.

The Dothraki were conquered by that act, it's right that they should kneel. Dany is not normal, she is extraordinary--like Jon.
My question is just why R'Hllor has granted them these powers--along with others; I hope we get an answer.

Jon was brought back by melisandre a priestess or whatever she is or maybe Jon actually never died we will never know but Dany from the first episode we saw her get in that hot tub of steamy water without getting burned she had a look on her face like it wasn't normal IMO and plain scary and Jon never uses what happened to him to score points or support if you noticed in S7 he didn't even want to tell Dany what happened to him getting stabbed but Dany gloads and keeps bringing it up all the time how she can't burn and how they should follow her becasue she is the one meant to rule the seven kingdoms first person to call her mad was Mira maz sure the healer who Dany burned alive .

Melisandre is a priestess of R'Hllor, the fire god, ('Lord of Light') like Thoros of Myr who raised Beric Dondarrion half a dozen times. Both claim they have no inherent power, it's all the Fire God's doing. I suspect he's at the bottom of Daenerys' powers too, after all dragons are 'fire made flesh' and they and fire resistance are what make Dany extraordinary.

Mirri never killed anyone and Daenerys never gave her a trial, never even issued a sentence. Abject little twats of your sort do not want to see it.
