This image from last nights episode is giving me nightmares. Emilia Clark has some of the worst facial expressions on the show. This reminds me of Pennywise.

Mistake; title is "A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms" Where did you get that title from? I'm just curious as I've seen others make that claim as well. A bogus post on here quoting a bogus Twitter post that was quoting a bogus wiki entry.

Really impactful interactions tonight. I can't believe no one thought about the dead in the crypt. They must have said "crypt" 8 times this episode. "The dead are already here." Holy crap, I'm such a dunce I completely missed that. And the fact that everyone kept repeating that it is the "safest place" over and over. Yikes.

I sure hope they don't go there, it would make them all look like utter fools.
If a wooden box can contain a wight all the way from Eastwatch to King's Landing, a stone sarcophagus ought to be able to hold one until the end of time.

I wondered the same thing out the crypt, but I imagine most of the dead there are just bones but it would be something to see if headless Ned or zombie Lyanna showed up.
Ned may be just bones too though. I can't remember.

I think it was very appropriate. Wasn't it after comparing how "awesome we are as women" or something? Either or, her smiling is/was appropriate. I just have an issue with the way her face contorts when she does some facial expressions and they seem awkward. This one particular gives me nightmares as it looks like she's a fucking demon. I expect her to open her mouth and for it to be filled with fangs or something. Just creeps me out.

That's the secret behind their popularity. The audience needs something to identify with.

So how does the Lannisters being more popular fit into your theory? "Best portrayed" doesn't mean "more popular". You're getting dumber with each post, it seems. Besides, readers of the Business Insider are probably not your average stupid audience, they know to make the difference.

There were two axes, best portrayed and the ones they liked most, the Lannisters were on top in both regards.
I doubt many respondents were regular readers of BI, they just came across a link somewhere to a Game of Thrones survey and followed it.

Readers or visitors of a business publication being Lannister fans is not a coincidence.

Readers or visitors of a business publication being Lannister fans is not a coincidence. BI is aimed more at the Silicon Valley crowd; its niche is more of a complement or counterweight to the Wall St. Journal.
But again, it's unlikely many respondents were regular readers of BI due to the way they did the survey.
The Lannisters weren't businessmen anyway and wouldn't be as attractive to them as you might think, at least over here. They're more representative of 'Old Money' corrupting government for their own ends and keeping down the up-and-comers like the Tyrells, the Littlefingers and...the Reynes...
