Romantic comedies and sex comedies aren't my thing. I'm iffy about a lot of comedy movies in general. Prefer sitcoms for the most part.
Also not a big Western fan - although there are some films from that genre that I do adore, i.e. The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.
Not that big into dramas either, but again there are some dramas that I really love, i.e. Gran Torino, Invictus and I am a fan of the Rocky series. But generally speaking, I'm not typically that interested in straight dramas.

I'm picky about the comedies I like Same. The majority of comedies don't appeal to me, but there are a select few that would rank very highly in my estimations.

Superhero movies. Every single one ever made.
Sword-and-sandal movies.
Long-drawn-out historical epics with scene-chewing actors.
Fantasy.
Anime.
I love romantic comedies when they're well made, but they usually aren't. The worst are the Hallmark ones, featuring execrable overacting and the same formulaic plots about workaholic women meeting lonely widowed veterinarians or princes from fictional countries.
Most Westerns, with a few exceptions.
Most comedies starring SNL alumni or former stars of mediocre sitcoms.
