I do not know Janos Slynt was corrupt. This is a wild accusation Tyrion makes the day he has him arrested and while we may believe Littlefinger paid him to side with Joffrey, it also was the right thing to do. Janos Slynt was a coward and an incompetent officer, he was a yes-man who followed Joffrey's orders without question but he was less corrupt than Bronn, whom Tyrion paid to help him take control of the City Watch. The same Bronn who then said his question to an order of killing children would be "how much?" Tyrion was not the good guy in S2. Bronn would do anything for money and a castle I guess he really doesn't have values well now he has an order to kill Jamie and Tyrion at cersei request , will he do it ? The point was that Tyrion the "good guy" was replacing a child murderer with another one who claimed he would do it for money while the first one said he did it "on orders". Tyrion was accusing Slynt to have taken Cersei's side against the previous Hand. Had Slynt chosen to support Ned, Tyrion would likely have accused him of betraying the Lannisters. Slynt couldn't win because Tyrion simply wanted his own man at the head of the City Watch. This was one more example of the story being written in such a way that dumb audiences were cheering at whatever their favourites did. They were their favourites because the story is mostly presented from their side and because they are underdogs. At this point in the series, most were outraged that Joffrey had a dozen bastard killed but none seemed to care that Robb was coldly sacrificing 2000 of his own men for a diversion.

Just because you say it, doesn't make it true.
It looks to me like you're in love with Cersei and Jonsa is in love with the idea Jon and Sansa are in love--or should be. It is obvious that Daenerys poses a clear and present danger to your loves thus your determined opposition to her and your deteriorating arguments, you're reduced to hurling insults when presented with clear-headed facts and analysis.
And you're in love with the idea of Dany ruling or being this savior all she is is a tyrant and I'm telling you she is the common enemy Jon is speaking of her days are numbered as for my ship I have very valid factual reasons to believe what I do from books and series , dany is not a threat to what I believe, she is a threat to Humanity period No, she's just an interesting character on a TV show to me, one who pledged everything she had to defeat the Night King and the Army of the Dead.
Methinks you doth protest too much, I can hear the 'meowing' from here!

Oh, you think I care for a show I don't even watch? It's not about what happens in it, it's about the garbage you represent. Your analysis is skewed, I don't represent what you pretend I do.
It's just a TV show to me, there's no reason to get your undies in a bundle over what's happening on a TV show you don't watch.

It's just a TV show to me, there's no reason to get your undies in a bundle over what's happening on a TV show you don't watch. Nothing is "just a TV show". You are discussing moral standpoints and taking positions. You represent these things when you do so, regardless of the basis leading to the discussion. All my positions about GoT are based on real world equivalents which are all I really care for. You might notice I care a lot more about the audience's behaviour and opinions than about the story itself.

I made my arguments and stand by them regardless of invective; that's just an indication I'm 'winning' or at least befuddling my interlocutor.
You'd do better to watch the show, letting Twitter do it for you has decreased your understanding of it immensely.

There is no winning when discussing choices. This is not about logic, nor about convincing anyone. I know I won't change you or others, I long lost the illusion of turning dogs into cats. As to the show, I know Daenerys for what she was by S6 and know she hasn't essentially changed. The writing makes her help save the world so the story remains ambiguous and the relativist leftard who writes it can make his point of never making a point because "it's all more complicated" and "you have to see it from all sides" etc… I hope he bloats.

She only pledged after she lost her dragon it was personal for her before that she was being selfish not helping not taking Jon seriously not having faith in him asking Jon to bend the knee and if he did so would his people and let's not forget please the scene they cut out from S7 of her going ballistic blaming Jon she lost a dragon .

I didn't see any deleted scenes on my blu-ray, which disk is it on?
She pledged once she realized the threat was grave, immediate and very real. Others such as Varys, the Archmaester and Sansa were also less concerned about the threat because of the Wall.
Jon put himself in a curious position with both queens, his Kingdom seceded from the Realm both claimed but he then insisted they come to his aid. Our Jon is not a deep thinker you see. You'll note Daenerys pledged to come to their aid before Jon bent the knee, whereas Cersei told him to go pound sand.

Lol. Dany is a character I am indifferent about. I do agree though that very soon we get to see that there is no Jonsa and that the common enemy after the White Walkers is Cersei.

Cersei had the only sane reaction from someone who's being offered a mere truce from a war meant to take them down. Anyone blaming her for that is the last collectivist scum, to which you proudly belong.

Now she looks like she wants to kill Jon. Mad Queen or bust. Bust it is. She had her world turned upside down at the hands of her lover, on the word of said lover's brother and best friend. After everything she's been through, and no matter how much you love and trust somebody, that's a hard pill to swallow.
