I don't understand the need for this. The Child's Play series is on the right track again with the most recent two movies.

I don't understand the need for this. The Child's Play series is on the right track again with the most recent two movies. It was until they decided to do television. The original series is continuing its storyline on there. As for this trailer, I enjoyed it. I don’t like the fact that they’re using him as this telekinetic robot that can alter other objects, but it looks like gruesome fun. Plus Hamill sounded almost exactly like Brad in the final line!

I prefer Chucky being posessed by a killer's spirit than an AI having the powers of Carrie.

So they got Mark Hamill just so he could do a Bead Dourif impression?

I wonder how long until EVERY movie is either a remake or a sequel.

What was the point of hiring Mark Hamil if he isn't going to do his Joker voice? I think that's what everyone was expecting.

I wonder how long until EVERY movie is either a remake or a sequel. It pretty much feels that way now.

I wonder how long until EVERY movie is either a remake or a sequel. It pretty much feels that way now. Certainly when it comes to mainstream cinema.

Stephen King's Pet Sematary is a masterpiece.
The 1989 movie isn't very good, though it isn't bad either imo.
With the 2019 movie they managed to screw up their chance to make a good adaptation and somehow managed to stray even further from the novel, according to what I have read anyway.

I don't like that they're getting rid of the supernatural elements, this is basically the plot to a Simpsons "Treehouse of Horror" episode.

I have no problem with smart technology turning against people. But Chucky without Charley Lee Ray doesn’t seem right. The name Chucky is because of Charles.

As of today, There are only 2 Stephen King Movies that I myself would love to see be remade....." SILVER BULLET" (I Love the Original Gary Busey Movie) and " SALEM's LOT" (The TNT Remake was Terrible).

Just about every critic and people I know who have seen the movie state that the remake is better.
