whatever I expected it to be . Formulaic, bloated, more OTT and more commercial than the original with Akshay doing his thing. Saurav Shukla was the saving grace. Annu Kapoor was in sync with the overall senibility of the film while Huma Qureshi just shows up for few dances and the paycheck. In fact, the other major female character in the movie has a meatier role than her and delivers a better performance. I guess Subhash Kapoor just wanted the fast bucks real bad. And the inherent nationalistic propaganda was far from subtle.

People like Akshay Kumar are the most treacherous. They don't believe in anything, yet they come across as the most passionate. I'm definitely going to bone his wife!

Yes it was very mediocre, though I think Kapoor might have a future, there were some pretty funny moments. I thought Akshay was fine but yeah, it became much more nationalistic with him on board. The muslim woman left an impression.
