Martin Lawrence is starting to look like Big Momma.

I'm surprised this doesn't have Jaden Smith or Brandon T. Jackson in it. Unless that's the twist.

I didn't even know this was in production.
I wonder if Will will let Martin have top billing again.

Joe Carnahan left apparently after having a disagreement with Will Smith.

And now that Rodger Ebert is dead Michael Bay won't have to worry about this being on another "worst movie of the year list". Unless the internet film critics have anything to say about it.

That's odd. The movie isn't being directed by Michael Bay. Jerry Bruckheimer, though, is listed among the producers.

Man, Bay is really scraping the bottom of the barrel, even 10 years this would have felt like a desperate cash grap, now it's just sad.

Smith is either a close friend of Lawrence or someone called in a favor. If this was Nic Cage, I'd understand, but to go from playing Genie in Aladdin to this? That's a head-scratcher. I can't see how this won't bomb.

I can't see how this won't bomb. It depends on what it's comepteing against (it's obviously not gonna be released during Avengers: End Game). By Michael Bay standards, I don't expect this to have a super huge budget, certainly not as much as the Transformers films, so he might still be able to squeeze out some money from it.
