Looking at the left side of the paper, it mentions Truman as the current U.S. president. Remind me again what year this movie takes place?

One of the Superman film spoofs a paper's famous headline about President Ford's refusal to bail out New York City.

That photo might be homage to or spoof of a scene near the end of Bullitt. After the airport shootout, Robert Vaughn is driven away in a limo. He opens up a copy of The Wall Street Journal. Unfortunately, I cannot find a photo.

Unfortunately, I cannot find a photo. Okay, for some reason I was thinking this came out of the Thomas Crown Affair.
