Can anyone please explain. From his scene with Dany in the 2nd episode of the 8th season. - "And one other suggestion if you allow me". Is it implied that he suggested her to go and be a bit more friendly with Sansa?

Make peace with Sansa was the suggestion Cool. Thanks. I thought so too but was still confused. What implications do you see of Ser Jorah getting a Valyrian sword? Could he kill one of the walkers?

Ya know, it just occurred to me that maybe Jorah is not doomed, perhaps Sam is finding himself a better father figure....
I'm not getting my hopes up though.

I will be honest and say that I have never really liked Ser Jorah. But this episode changed my feelings for him. I always saw him as a person with low self-esteem who always bowed to others. First to his first wife and then to Dany. But he came of age this season. Now I see him as a strong individual. I really wish we see him as a hero by the end.

He's the kind of guy Sansa was talking about to Daenerys, easily manipulated by women. Strong in most regards, a potentially devastating warrior, a worldly capable man--but a sucker for a pretty face. I like characters with weaknesses and flaws to go with their strengths and idiosyncrasies. I like his gruff humor as well, even when he was just shutting Tyrion up 'The Mormont Way' or musing about throwing Tyrion overboard just to silence him. Plus, extra cool accent.

definitely to go talk to sansa which was actually good advice much better than dany threatening sansa to jon about not "respecting " her, implication sansa would end up being a snack for drogon. Its very obvious jorah LOVES dany besides khal drogo he is only man who truly loves her. If he ends up being azor ahai dany will be his nissa nissa im convinced of that especially now that he has heartsbane sword.

She was trying to get her lover to intercede with his sister who was acting so bitchy to her queen.
Hrm, that's a meaning of Sam giving his sword to Jorah I hadn't considered--that's...not impossible. It would also give Jorah a motivation to become Lord Commander of the Night's Watch afterward.

Her comment to Jon combined with her telling Sansa that her dragons eat "whatever they want" definitely seemed threatening.

She's up there to fight the Night King and the Army of the Dead, not feed her dragons, try it from that context. Along with the fact she was summoned away from her war to face an imminent peril to the entire North and is greeted with sullen faces and bitching about logistics because her army was so large.
Note that Dany's sense of humor runs a little to the dark side, she grew up with Viserys ('...and their horses too!').
I thought that was the very best line of that entire episode, perfect delivery.

Well, an army of ice zombies is everyone's problem, but I see your point.

Well, an army of ice zombies is everyone's problem, but I see your point. As someone else (Bluerisk?) noted in another thread, the best place to defend Westeros is the Neck, swampland difficult to traverse for soldiers who can't swim and rivers to shorten the front. Winterfell is a deathtrap if you can't hold the Kingsroad down to the river, ~20 miles, as that's a besieging army that doesn't get diseased or need food. All they have to do is surround the castle and wait--or force the inferior defenders to sally forth to keep that supply line/escape route open, that's likely a losing proposition.
They defend Winterfell to save the North, but the North doesn't have to be saved, it's a huge risk to do so...

Maybe they know her stupid dragons are the reason they are in danger in the first place. Yes, yes, I know, they shouldn't have "elected" an idiot. That's the whole trouble with democracies…

I personally believe Winterfell has magical properties that give certain strength to Bran. It's difficult to imagine Bran not being near Godswood of Winterfell and at his most powerful during the fight. Yes, the neck has mysterious magical properties too but we don't know exactly what they are and if Bran can be at his best in the neck. Vale is absolutely out of question as bringing the entire north to Vale would be too difficult. Leaving people behind would not just be unethical (especially with Stark morality) but might also add more strength to the army of the dead.

I have no idea of the magical properties of any place outside The Wall versus the Dead and don't think they established anything in that regard on the show. I'm just talking about the military position. Defending The Vale would allow them into the whole South and could only be a last resort, but the Neck would allow you to defend the vast majority of the population of Westeros.
You'd evacuate the North, frankly sending that whole army into a deathtrap ("There's no way out!'") is more unethical.

Except we've seen Daenerys feed her pets before. But of course, the leftist fuck will say they were slavers and all guilty without a need for a trial. I'm not letting you off, go get flushed.
