Also, Brazil nuts and Macadamias are pretty expensive. Pecans and almonds aren't far behind. 'Pine nuts' win the expensive stakes, at least here. When I make basil pesto I usually have to mix them with chopped almonds!

Lots of different kinds of cheeses to start including fried or baked cheese crisps. Also golden raisins and lychee fruits.

Lobster, I got to Red Lobster once a year during Lobsterfest. the last time I ate there it was over 60 bucks.

With my first growth Bordeaux wines, I would add crusty French bread and Pont l'Eveque soft ripened cheese...but the cheese cannot be too old.
