Damn, forgot "Begotten" (1991) that is one weird movie. You can only have 3 films in this vote... You'll have to take one of your other choices out if you want "The Begotten" in 🤔

So far, 'The Exorcist' is the RFS board's favourite film about religion.

So far, 'The Exorcist' is the RFS board's favourite film about religion. Not surprising. I'm an atheist with a strong dislike of religion and typically just roll my eyes at struggles of faith in movies, but the story and character ark of Father Karras struck me as sincere, authentic, and heartfelt, and I couldn't help but respect it. It was just really well written and acted.

Now means: The RFS board's favourite film about religion is currently a tie between The Exorcist, and The Last Temptation of Christ. The latter must be a short film "If you are the son of God, come down from that cross"... "No"

I like the ones where the atheists are the martyrs! . In Agora, Alejandro Amenabar portrayed Hypatia as an atheist (although, in reality, she followed Neoplatonism as well as Egyptian pagan religion).
