Adam Green (Born: March 31, 1975 in Holliston, Massachusetts, USA)
Danielle Harris & Adam Green
'You Are What You Love' < Jenny Lewis > 'Wasted Youth'
.
Adam Green is in the metal band Haddonfield. He was born and raised in Holliston, Massachusetts where he began hosting his own radio program 'Coffee & Donuts', perfecting a formula he'd expand upon to create his debut feature 'Coffee & Donuts' (2000) which is shot in his home town (he's also behind a television show called 'Holliston'). Green attended Hofstra University in New York, home to WRHU-FM (88.7), which is said to be Long Island's oldest public radio station. He moved from coast to coast looking for job opportunities, gaining employment as a DJ at the Rainbow Bar & Grill in California. When he entered the horror fray by inaugurating the 'Hatchet' slasher series, sections of the film press drafted Green into their elevated 'Splat Pack', a fabricated body whose international members would come to include genre filmmakers Eli Roth, Rob Zombie, Neil Marshall, Darren Bousman, James Wan, Leigh Whannell, Alexandre Aja and Greg McLean. Green's filmed all over America in his time, travelling inland as well as between coasts; he even stopped off in Boston, Massachusetts to capture footage for the fantasy picture 'Digging Up The Marrow' (2014).
What are some of your favourite Adam Green movies?
Thanks.

I'm not sure if Adam Green's intending to make a fifth 'Hatchet' movie but I do know I found the fourth entry in the franchise deeply disappointing (BJ McDonell directed the third entry). I think he's a talented director but all his movies I like were made within a concentrated, 6-year period. I hope he tries his hand at something different, rather than returning to the 'Hatchet' well.
Green's tv show 'Holliston' stars Dee Snider of Twisted Sister as Lance Rockett.
