This was one of those games where I knew none of the films, few of the actors and all the answers were the result of research. From page 3 on it was all eating kiji’s dust. I was lucky to get 10 points. But what can I say ? I’m in thrall to The Games!
I’m a Fool to play here !

Ditto for me, Marsha.
Another wonderful performance by Romy.
Mr. Kijii thinks fast and straight.
Great work by everybody.

Fools rush in Where other players dread And so I come to these Garth Games Where did I leave my head?
But though I see The danger there If I make D-D-C Then I don't care
As I post Another N-T-A Instead of merely giving up I'll find a different way
Maybe try Rooney as he portrays Huck Finn So open up the Game and let This fool rush in

What is Sooo hard to explain to anyone around me (in the room) is that "I want--no, need--to be alone" during a GG (no interruptions, unless a matter of life or death).
Has anyone here ever tried to explain a GG to someone who has never played one?
a) It's like a live crossword puzzle race in real time? B) It's like a live database search race--with qualifications that you have to hold in your mind all the time?
How can it be explained to an outsider? It can't be done.
I always tell people that is addictive but costs no money and it is NOT bad for me health. Nothing is lost or gained except some fun time.

ROMY RIDES THE WINNING CHARIOT ACROSS THE FINISH LINE IN GRAND STYLE !!!
*******************************************************************************
Kudos to all of the Magnificent Seven
__________________________________________
Back to the Winner's Circle once again -- Romy Those indominables at the DDC Gates -- Kijii and Staccato and Spider and Marsha
and that pair of Participating Angels -- Delon and Jervis
******************************************************************************
And now the QM must take French leave of you for awhile
I sally forth to the annual gathering where I will convene, confer, and otherwise hobnob with my fellow Quizmasters
But fear not -- there will be a brand new Contest waiting for you a week from Thursday
Although it may be a 'pipperino' (as George M. describes his teenage date after the show to future spouse Mary)
Until then -- au revoir, mes amis

uh-oh -- Scorekeeper Stan (in a panic) just came racing up to the QM, having discovered a discrepancy in the BR -- it was actually Kijii who posted Richard Jenkins first.
The Scoreboard has been adjusted to correct the error.
