You people still butthurt? Rey is a piece of shit character. QQ. Total Mary Sue. They need to write characters more like they used to, such as a farm boy who was able to fly a starfighter and fire a one-in-a-million shot to bring down a Death Star. (And no, I'm not hating on Luke, but merely pointing out the hypocrisy of people having no problem with Luke being able to do what he did while complaining non-stop about Rey.)

If you honestly can't see the narrative differences in their stories, you weren't paying attention. I can't relate as I am not willfully ignorant.

(And no, I'm not hating on Luke, but merely pointing out the hypocrisy of people having no problem with Luke being able to do what he did while complaining non-stop about Rey.) He mentions he used to bullseye womprats in his T-16, which gives him experience in this endeavor, and as we know the force is strong in his family (with his father also being one of the best star fighter pilots ever). As an aside, there was no internet in 1977 so for all we know there were some people who found it absurd, though that's neither here nor there. Rey beats Kylo in her first ever sword fight. She can fly the Falcon better than Han and Chewie who've been doing it for 40 years. With barely any training she can move a rockslide in TLJ. It just gets ridiculous after a certain point. If she's the most powerful force user ever, so be it. But the use of the character abilities without any explanation flies in the face of decades of established Star Wars lore.

PowerRanger (Everyone knows its you so stop with this multiple account thing) Luke aspired to be a pilot and wanted to join the academy, Obi-Wan helped him via force connection to hit that one-in-a-million shot to bring down the Death Star. Rey however had no build-up, she could do just about anything 'just because'.
