Albert Dekker was a Hollywood actor who did the bulk of his work through the 50s and 60s, including films such as The Wild Bunch. He was found dead May 5th, 1968 in the bathroom of his Hollywood home by his then fiancée, actress Jeraldine Saunders. He was blindfolded, bound and gagged in the bathtub with two syringes inserted into his arms and obscene words scrawled in red lipstick on his body. There was also money and some camera equipment missing from the house, but no sign of a break in. This bizarre and horrifying scene certainly suggested foul play of some kind, but it was ultimately ruled an accidental death caused by autoerotic asphyxiation. However, there are still a lot of answered questions regarding what happened, namely the apparent theft of money and camera equipment. Could he have had a lover no one knew about, someone with more exotic sexual tastes than his fiancée? Could he have been seeing a professional dominatrix and the session went horribly wrong? Did he have any enemies, was this is a hit disguised as a sexual scenario gone awry? Or could it have been Jeraldine herself, and she claimed items were missing from the house to suggest an outside party was involved? Source: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Albert_Dekker

Holy hell, I didn't know that. you a fan at all. I remember him just as one of those supporting actors that was always reliable. But then he just went away. Didn't expect such a gruesome end.
