Hearing and/or seeing your parents talk/experience problems with aging. I got one better: Experiencing the problems your parents had with aging.

When I see an actress that I have not seen in a while and how much they have aged. That makes me feel old. A couple examples. Suzanne Somers (remember her from Three's Company) and Kathleen Turner (remember her in the movie Body Heat).

Doris Day's recent passing made me feel like I've lost something from my childhood. I'll never forget the first time I saw "Pillow Talk". I was 8 years old, and I was just smitten by her cute personality and her optimism. For some reason, I thought she was going to live for many, many more years.

I recently came across an online photo of a group of old people at a local restaurant, and wondered who they were.......before SUDDENLY realizing it was a group getting together from MY high school graduation class (CHS, class of 1978!) !! I can honestly say that in my (nearly) 60 years on this planet, I have never, EVER, felt SO old, as I did in that moment, looking at all those ANCIENT faces (not to mention the thinning, missing, or VERY gray hair, and big, BIG bellies!)......though something tells me this is probably just the TIP of the iceberg, and that the REAL fun is just beginning....... SAVE FERRIS

Nothing
I am 35 which is not old, so i see no reason why anything should make me feel old.

Not being able to name (or even recognize) a single popular band or hit song from the past 10+ years. Realizing that I cannot physically lift a full-grown Golden Retriever. My husband loved the breed and we had several, and we would go on road trips in the car. This last dog I've gotten, since I turned 65, is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I can lift her into the car if need be. She's a sweet, engaging little personality, but I miss the Goldens.

Ear hair, WTF is up with that, are you with me? My niece moved in with her boyfriend. My nephew is a drummer in a rock band and just graduated high school. Neither was even alive for the O.J. trial. How can this be possible???

Saw this right after posting mine. Ear hair grows faster than weeds! Why do we need more hair there at this age?

Bear in mind that what you see in the mirror is an opposite reflection of how you really appear; on the flip side, when you see yourself in a photo it is how you really look to other people.

When you see classic license plates on a nineties era car (in Texas they just have to be 25 years old to qualify).

When I see a movie that came out when I was a teen and it looks really dated.
When I see people that I went to school with and I see how much they've changed. I know I've changed, but I see myself everyday so I'm used to it, but the people that I graduated with are still frozen in time at age 18 in my mind. When I see them 20+ years later it reminds me how much time has passed.

T2: Trainspotting
I was the only person in the theatre, days after it premiered. I laughed to myself as the lights dimmed.

Seeing how much my nieces and nephews who live far away now have grown every year when we have our Cousin's Christmas party at my Aunt and Uncle's and I get to see them, my cousins and my other Aunts and Uncles.

My Aunt was a big fan of hers and I grew up watching a lot of her movies with her and my favourite Doris movies were 'Calamity Jane' and 'The Ballad of Josie' and I still enjoy watching them now. 'Cause my Aunt was upset over Doris' passing I got her a big Doris Day book at Booktopia and it cost a lot of money but was worth it.

Logging into Facebook and seeing people I went to high school with have children getting ready to graduate high school themselves (must've been a teenage pregnancy).
The person ahead of me in the supermarket buying tobacco products for the first time since they reached legal age this year (meaning they were born in 2001).
Looking at old pictures and realizing how dated they are with the style of clothing (I look very '90s in some of them).
The biggest one is finding out some of my relatives passed away when it feels like just yesterday we were all celebrating the holidays together. Makes me think of how much time had flown by.
