I think we can safely say that Dany passed the point of no return down the road to Evil Town. I mean, she burnt kids alive AFTER the city had surrendered. Many people might be waiting to see which of the good guys that are left will kill her, perhaps taking the throne themselves to rule justly. But this is GoT, and if there's one thing the books and movies have taught us is that the bad guys actually win a lot. So the show started with a cold-hearted Queen in power (even if it was Robert who actually sat on the throne), and I think it could end with a cold-hearted Queen in power. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

She can try. And if it hasn't crumbled down, she can probably go sit on it for a minute, just like Jaime did.
The thing is, she has no following any more. She's alone with her dreadful beast and a bunch of Unsullied. You can be the big Thug in town as long as part of the town benefits from it, but not after you destroyed the town. Not after you've disregarded every rule. She is now the foreign danger no one else wants and she'll have to sleep next to her dragon with Unsullied around them. Supposing they're not afraid of her. Everyone else is.
Rulers do not need to be loved. They can get away with being feared as long as they can be trusted. She no longer inspires trust. Everyone around her wonders if they are going to be next. She's politically dead.

She has one last obstacle: Sansa. No, not even that. Remove Sansa and the problem remains. Everyone around her will now silently fall in line and she'll be killed the moment she turns her back to a blade a few metres away from an Unsullied. It's the Caligula situation.

I believe so too i think she will come after sansa next , i think arya knows it too maybe the next eyes she will be shutting will be danys , if dany stabs jon i can see arya killing her in return in some kind of showoff but yes i think that dany will defiitely ask for sansa to bend the knee and i didnt see lord of vales at KL !!

Sansa can plot and thus deliver this blade. I don't think she'll have time. Everyone else will too. Who? Littlefinger, Varys, Tywin Lannister, Pycelle, Qyburn, Olenna Tyrell, Margaery Tyrell, Elliria Sand, Roose Bolton, The High Sparrow? Davos is too honest, Sam too naive and cowardish (albeit he made Jon the Lord Commander...but this goal was not to kill someone, and the stakes to fail were rather low, but the stakes for winning high), Jon and Tyrion are too stupid. Who else?

Who else? Anyone alive at this point. Sam killed a White Walker but he's not there. Jon, Tyrion, Davos would. And Arya, of course. Or anyone else who's frightened enough. Any Unsullied would do too. I would like that last solution best.

GoT Academy are just discussing this very point of a feared ruler in their analysis of the episode, at 4'55:

Cersei "Took too long!" and tested Dany's promise to burn the city. Dany followed through with what she said she would do.

I know who is gonna sit on the throne, it's so stupid it has to be true. Yea, imo, it's gonna be that stupid. It makes no sense, I wanna say more but dont wanna ruin it.

I just hope whoever took pleasure in leaking stuff invented the last bit so he would have something more. It really is beneath the level of anything we've seen so far.

The "leaks" were discussed here (under spoiler tag) a couple of episodes ago and someone posted a link to a screen shot of dark plain text over a light green background (I would link it if I could find it). I saved that picture and looking at it now I see that the last two points are tacked on: they do not start with a hyphen and the English is awkward. These discrepancies indicate different authors.

Meet the new boss, same as the old boss. Its a strong possibility that power corrupts her and she just kills everyone. Think the end of Godfather part 2. You win... but at the cost of everything you hold dear. This is the show where bad things are as likely to happen as good ones. So...
Basically she'll sit on the throne if she kills everybody which is a good possibility.
