Fat Cat - A TV host on children's TV in Australia when I was a little kid. Wow. An Aussie on here that actually remembers Fat Cat. I remember seeing Fat Cat live back in the 80s with Patsy Biscoe and I was really scared of him at the time but Patsy was really nice and she talked to me for a while and I got one of her albums signed along with some other things. Do you remember Mr. Do-Bee from 'Romper Room?'

As did ADVENTURE ISLAND, the original SKIPPY, the original BILL AND BEN and the original TALES FROM THE RIVERBANK. You might need to google one or two of them if you haven't heard of them.

Has someone mentioned Tiddles? en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/TiddlesI know of him because I knew of another cat with that name, and was curious how common it is.

Surprisingly I don't remember this cute electronic kitty that ( IMPO ) resembles a pink pop tart here .
Although I do remember this crazy critter from YouTube
even though he's not a cat .
Thanks so much Admin John for all your
awesome famous cat selections here too .

There was a popular cartoon series in the former Soviet Union called "A Kitten Named Woof" featuring this little Siamese kitten:

And the kinder, gentler version: from Mary Tyler Moore Productions.

And the kinder, gentler version: from Mary Tyler Moore Productions. Even better when Bob Newhart did the voice.

Do you remember Round the Twist, Bangers and Mash, Gumby, Noddy, Fireman Sam, Thomas the Tank Engine, Blinky Bill and Babar the Elephant? I remember Humphrey got axed in 2003 'cause he wasn't wearing any pants and a lot of people were offended over it and I don't understand why they didn't just have him put on some pants but I think by then the ratings were dwindling. Do you remember 'BJ and the Bear' and the TV Show of 'National Velvet?' My Aunt was a fan of those and has been waiting years for them to be released on DVD but they sadly never have been. I don't know if you saw 'A Country Practice' but during the early seasons of the show they used the house my Aunt grew up in for a few episodes and she was there while it was being filmed.

Yes, I remember or have heard of all of them, but I only ever saw bits and pieces of a few of them. I rather liked Thomas and Babar. I also remember really enjoying the pilot of BJ AND THE BEAR, but disappointingly, thinking that the rest of the TV series failed to live up to it. I also saw a lot of the early years of A COUNTRY PRACTICE, but I felt it was never quite the same after Molly died.

I just remembered one I forgot to mention was Sooty and I LOVED Sooty and he was sooo cute and they aired repeats of the show on one of the digital channels not long ago and we were recording it for our Malshis 'cause they love it and we would take them over to the TV to watch Sooty with Soo and Sweep and they would wave and go crazy when Sweep was on and we got them a Sweep toy that makes the same sounds as him. Did you watch Sooty and have any Sooty books or plush toys? I never saw 'BJ and the Bear' so I don't know what the show was like but my Aunt had a crush on Greg Evigan when he was younger along with David Cassidy, Donny Osmond and Barry Manilow and I grew up watching repeats of 'The Patridge Family' with my Aunt and she was upset when he passed away. I agree with you about 'A Country Practice' and after Molly's death a lot of people stopped watching the show 'cause she was very popular and they had the actress on Studio 10 last year or the year before and it was actually her decision to leave 'cause she was getting offered all these roles in movies and she said she regretted it 'cause most of them didn't lead anywhere but they lead her to believe she could be a big star.

I've seen bits and pieces of SOOTY over the years, but I don't think I ever saw an entire episode. How about... Or...
