The Trouble with Romy....
Too smart and too fast.
A great victory, young lady.
The rest of us did well, too.
Mathew, I almost passed on this game. But it was a lot of fun. Thanks.

Marsha,
Great work on getting Elizabeth Cavell.
I spent a lot of intimate time with Flora Robson, but I just couldn't get it.
I still don't know who she is!
A great find.

It wasn’t the Sarah Bernhardt thing especially. They just seemed like they woul play similar roles.

aha! VINDICATED!!!
-- For those naysayers and doubting Tommys and QM attackers -- scroll down the following. -- I dare you ... read it and weep! -- Apologies being accepted. -- Humble pie being served in the main DDC dining room. -- It can be washed down at the Charlton Wagon with a cuppa Cookie's 'Cowboy Coffee' -- (so strong you could float a horse in it).

It's the 20th item down in the IMDb listing of the 1983 TV Special entitled PARADE OF STARS.
It contains this cast entry:
Jeanne Moreau as ... (wait for it) ... SARAH BERNHARDT!
There' s the proof! As plain as the nose on your face!
As 'Sam Gerard' in THE FUGITIVE famously said: "The Big Dog is always right."

Only explanation (not excuse) for the Divine Sarah flameout:
This Contest was constructed between conducting workshops at the recent QM Convention a fortnight ago (that's two weeks to you).
It must have been the high altitude in the high Himalayas at the Shangri-La Inn that caused the forgetfulness of where I stored that Sarah answer.
Either that -- or getting high at the After Hours Happy Hour each evening.
