I hope they make Arya's story the sequel they have said they will make. To be honest I rather what happens after 10 years to see if Jon and Tyrion did the right thing. Jon basically wasn't given a choice because of Sansa. Tyrion goes from being a Hand that gives all the wrong advice to his Queen and is a traitor, to being listened to by the Lords of the Realm after a couple of minutes of speech. Beyond ridiculous.

Arya's explorations would make an excellent spinoff. I'd be more interested in that than this prequel with Naomi Watts set 10,000 years before the Targaryen conquest. I hope they make Arya's story the sequel they have said they will make. I thought they said all five possible spinoffs were prequels? I think one or two of them is already off the table. One of them — the one with Naomi Watts set 10,000 years earlier — already has the greenlight and is set to begin filming, or may already be filming. And the others are still in the discussion stage, but they’re prequels as well from what I’ve read.

Perhaps I'm mistaken but I thought I read that one would be a sequel - it might have been wishful thinking on my part!

I hope you're right, I don't see the point of one set 10k years previous, it wouldn't be much similar to Game of Thrones anyway.
I'd really like to see a sequel though, this ending left so much room for it. Hell, Daenerys could come back, taken by Drogon to be raised by Red Priests.

I'm not really interested in a show set 10 thousand years in the past either. A sequel would be great though.

I'd like to see one set maybe 25 years in the future.

I want one called 'everything you saw in the last episode was Bran dreaming of an alternate outcome of what really happened', and then have them show us the real last episode - one that makes sense.
