I've never seen the first two Can't believe theres somebody that hasnt seen the first 2. The first one may be ancient nowadays but I hope the 2nd one still has the power to blow you away in these horrible days of mass over cgi use

I was a Sly-girl and watched nearly every Sly Stallone movie in existence (I drew the line at the Rambo movies for quite a while, finally watched those a couple years ago) from RHINESTONE and TANGO&CASH to COBRA and EXPENDABLES. A friend of mine, who always preferred Arnie, made me watch KINDERGARTEN COP, CONAN, and TWINS in one weekend at her house, and I then started picking up cheap copies of Arnie movies to watch, but I still have never gotten around to seeing the first couple TERMINATOR movies. I only ever saw the third one because I was at a hotel with no cable, and the local channel was showing T3, and I saw the 5th because a friend of mine is a huge fan of both Arnie and the guy who was playing John Conner in that one, so she bugged me enough that I agreed to go see it with her in theatres (She claimed I owed her, since I dragged her to see a DCEU movie with me prior to that). I admit, I liked the 5th better than the 3rd, but I never saw 1,2, or 4. Really looking forward to this new one though.

Yeah there was all that action hero stuff going on back then and then Bruce Willis joined to make it a threesome and they opened a load of restrurants. I was on team Arnie myself especially with the 2 Terminators and other classics like Predator and Total Recall Theres so much more to the 2 movies than Arnie, the other great characters, great stories, great effects and if only you knew the twist in his character in the second movie that blew us all away back in 91 long before the internet spoiled our movie surprises, but I guess you have an idea what it is after 28 years lol

Looks like another generic action films with the Terminator IP slapped on it for a few extra bucks, so disappointing, I expected & hoped for more from Miller, Cameron not so much as though I liked the last one well enough his clear talking out of his butt left him with little credibility with me, plus he's too obsessed with those blue fucking cats these days.
Hopefully the movie is better than the trailer makes it seem, but yeah disappointed as I was looking for more a T1 or T2 vibe not so much T3 which is what this felt like.

Not at all, to be frank. There's a small chance I'd catch it on tv like with the last one. But not much.

I have especially enjoyed watching them in the EXPENDABLES trilogy (I'm still keeping a small amount of hope they'll consider doing a 4th one, cause there are still a lot of folks who fit the bill for extended cameo appearances, the way Harrison Ford did) Yup, my best friend and my sister are both firm Team Arnie fans. I think my favorite of his, so far, has been COMMANDO. I love the one-liners, they crack me up way more than they should. TRUE LIES is pretty da-gone hilarious as well. My aunt and cousin were big on the SARAH CONNER CHRONICLES show, and I watched a couple episodes with them. It did seem like Sarah C. was pretty awesome. I always liked Linda Carter when she was on BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, so I really do need to watch the first two movies sometime. Hehe, yeah I remember those days - no internet trolls, no spoiler tags, no tweeted reviews.

I swear, I shouldn't miss sleep for 8 days straight and then internet. Operating on over a week of only getting 3-4hrs a night of sleep, is probably not my brightest idea.
