The Trinity is a three in one character, and that's tough to understand.
The mistake modern man makes that wasn't as common in primitive man is that modern man is taught at a young age to look into a mirror, and thinks of himself as a noun.
It's easier for me to understand this, because I was from an earlier generation, and no mirror was set to child level. Mirrors were uncommon except among the filthy rich. I never saw the reflection in the high mirror above the sink till I was well into elementary school, a school that also had high mirrors. If I did see a reflection at age 5, like in a puddle, I would have no idea it was a reflection.
It was quite easy to remember the first time I was taught to think of myself as a noun instead of a verb. I can well understand that most people are taught they are nouns from day one, by mentors and elders who want their loved children to have an awareness of themselves.
It is because we taught to think we are nouns that we take the concept of division of cells in Meiosis to mean the essence of life. Modern man has a very narrow view of "life".
Studies on the human brain prove that you are not the noun of the brain. There is not one focal point in the brain that reacts to each impulse. In fact, there never is just one point that reacts. There already are numerous characters just in your brain, not to mention the millions of germs denoting other organisms in your body.
We can go over other numerous proofs that show you are not your body. The ones mention will suffice for anyone who isn't in complete denial and completely delusional.
It's "safe" and "convenient" to think of ourselves in material form. It's natural to want to have more control, or think you have more control, over yourself by believing you are material. It's something to work with. It's like trying to start a camp fire. You want a material match and material lighting fluid to start a fire instead of having nothing. You prefer something material to work with.
We are taught "materialism" as a religion in school from grade one. It is preached. It just isn't labeled for what it is. We are comfortable with materialism and with believing we are part of a material world.
For those who are willing to face the unknown of the immaterial world, a courage must be found. We want to think that when we die, it's all over and nothing can happen to us any more.
Yet new organisms can emit from us, divided from us, and divided again. How is that possible? Well, it isn't in materialistic thinking.
We are verbs, not nouns. And the first verb that is essential to acquire in one's soul is "courage", but for most of us that takes at least 40 years, to be willing to face the unknown, to boldly go where all men have gone before.
As verbs, we become part of a greater body, and the verb of the Holy Ghost is the one that we seek. Understanding the puzzles given to us by Jesus is the path to the Holy Ghost. Without that, we may have to return to a material world again, and be slaves again to our fears, fears based on helplessness in being noun forms, in being spiritually brainwashed to accept the safe path that just leads to the maze of delusion.
What verb is God? What verb is Jesus? What verb is the Holy Ghost? They are actions. They are "do", not "still". They are "run" not "runner". But they are the better portions which give us a better world, which we call Heaven or Paradise. They are more than one verb.
I believe that answers the question of how entities can split into more than one entity in you, in anyone. You are not a brain. You are "meter reading" the brain. When the brain dies, the "meter reader" doesn't read the brain. The brain is inoperative. Therefore, the meter reading verb splits off. Where does it go? The meter reading involves many verbs we know of There is "contemplating", there is "disdaining", there is "accept", there is "brave", there is "fear", and so forth. The splitting of cells is only material splitting that accepts the verbs we may be.
