Kevin Smith or George Lucas ?

For me, Kevin Smith all the way. I think when it comes down to it, Smith is an all-around more relatable guy. His opinions also for me, are almost spot on every time when it comes to favorite movies, movie talk, movie anything etc. George Lucas will go down as giving us one of the best movie franchises ever created (Star Wars). I remember Steven Spielberg nicknamed the directors of his time, something, of relation to "The Brat Pack". I can't remember what it was, though, as I only saw his documentary "Spielberg" movie about his career, once. The directors consisted of Brian De Palma, Francis Ford Coppola, Stanley Kubrick, Spielberg and George Lucas. Who were all friends at the time and being competitive on making the next best movie, which I didn't know prior viewing. George Lucas deserves to be amongst that pack. And that documentary was awesome for a Spielberg fan.

But again, Kevin Smith feels a lot more relatable and down to earth. I don't know how many interviews he's given, or podcasts he's been a part of. Heck, even his guest appearances on "The Talking Dead" are always a welcome sight. But I'd watch everything he gives insight to. I remember him being interviewed for the documentary film, "The Death of "Superman Lives": What Happened?", which is a documentary film about director Tim Burton directing a Superman movie he had started on but then was fired by studios. Scrapping the entire project. Kevin Smith was hilarious in his handful of minutes chiming in, in the docu.

So, yep. Go Kevin Smith. Who I also think had a heart attack within the last year, but don't quote me on the exact timeline. I hope he's doing as good as ever!
