I frankly don't get the whole fascination with food. To me, food is for nutrition. I tried to eliminate solid food from my diet and subsist only on beer, but I found that some food is required for proper health. As we all know, pizza is the perfect survival food, and I never met a pizza I didn't like, although some weren't as good as others. I just watched this video and it amazes me how much care people can put into making the best food product possible. Enjoy.

On my first visit to New Orleans, I took a bus tour, to get the lay-of-the-land. The tour guide said that Louisiana Governor Huey Long (1928-1932), loved beer. He got the legislature to pass ... and he signed ... legislation that declared beer to be a "food supplement." My trip was in the mid 70s, and at that time, it was still legal to drink beer while driving. I don't know if it is still the case. I tend to doubt it. But, it could be one of those quirky laws that remains on the books. Great video. Thanks. I certainly agree with him on the liberal use of oregano. You, almost, can't get enough in pizza sauce. Also, the pizza stone is vital, but it never occurred to me to heat it for a full hour. That's a good tip. I do like to sprinkle the stone with corn meal, as an extra measure against sogginess. But, the "quick cook," on the well heated stone, might make that unnecessary.

IIRC, underage drinking is illegal in all states but Louisiana is the only one in which the guilt is on the buyer instead of the seller. I think that's a good idea.

I agree. In California, they're very tough on the vendors. And, yes they should take some of the responsibility. A few years ago a "Mom 'N Pop," store clerk was shot and killed, here. The police finally found that it was retaliation for a bad gambling debt. However, for a time, there was speculation that a minor/minors may have wanted to buy tobacco, or alcohol, and she refused to sell ... then, paid the ultimate price.
That made me think about the heavy onus that is on merchants. There are even stories about "sting" operations to test sellers who might be "in question." They shouldn't have to risk their lives.

I frankly don't get the whole fascination with food.
When it comes to food there are two kinds of people.
People that eat to live.
People that live to eat.
Think about it. I fall into the second one.

Erjen, my man, you got a slow-cooker at home? If you do, cook some roast on Sundays and then use it for sandwiches for the rest of the week. Buy vegetables or whatever to fill in the rest. Easy-peasy. Not even chemtrails or Annanuki could interfere, it's that easy!
