That Eternal Winter song is good. But it sounds more "industrial" than Judas Priest. I think the sound effects at the beginning of "Eternal Winter" mislead you. Nightmare are Heavy/Power Metal and don't have an Industrial bone in their bodies. My favorite Nightmare song is "The Winds of Sin", a brutal intense thrasher with a definite "Painkiller" feel - right down to the high-pitched Halford-esque screams at the end.

I love Led Zeppelin, too. And I totally agree with you that Led Zeppelin is pure sex, Robert Plant, in particular. And because of songs like "The Ocean", which is majestically sexy. I love "Houses of the Holy", it is hypnotic in the way it plays naughty. In fact, it would be my favorite sexy Led Zeppelin, if it weren't for the following song, which makes me dilate.......... It is this song that showed me how to be a bottom. This is shameless sex. EDIT: Hmm, the video didn't show up. The song is Hot Dog.
That's surprising to me because I never really thought of that song as sexy. But I understand. We each have our personal experiences with the works of those sassy sexmongers.

Depends, maybe this (if you don't have them on your playlist already) could interest you?
It was heard during the final race seen in the movie The Wraith with Charlie Sheen & Sherilyn Fenn.
This one is also interesting:
On a different mood, Talking Heads - This must be the place
Or when it's time to workout (along with Lion):
Or another mood, her voice is just incredible, especially how she modulate it through the song:

I have always liked "For What It's Worth". It has that 1967 feel to it. That was such a transformative year for music and movies. I have never been a huge fan of "Sympathy for the Devil", not that I dislike it, I just don't listen to it that much. But I just listened to it, and it's dark (obviously, I suppose), intriguing and dark. The late 60s were a super interesting time for The Rolling Stones. My favorite song of theirs, though, is "Tumbling Dice" You saved the best for last! Nobody can touch Dusty Springfield.... I just love her. She had soul in her voice.

It doesn't get any better than this, effortless cool: I found the song on youtube, Fox in the Snow. I like this song. Almost immediately it reminded me of a lot of the songs from my favorite Blondie album, "Plastic Letters". Do you like Blondie, Fox? I think they're a lot of fun. One of my favorite bands. "Fixed Grin" felt like it would be right at home.... Love Blondie and agree Plastic Letters is their best effort, so badass and trashy. "Flight 45", "Youth Nabbed as Sniper", "I'm On E", "Presence Dear"... Mid 80s indie-pop is heavily influenced by early 60s girl group pop and punk, both part of Blondie's DNA, so no surprises that there are some similarites.

That's a shame, it's "Fixed Grin" by Scottish Indie-pop legends, Shop Assisitants I found it. youtu.be/y_BSSEbmJfMKinda sounds like The Go-Go's. Good call, they're in great company there.

It's not my own personal tastes, but wow you really run the gamut, from big hair metal to folksy! The Talking Heads song was definitely my favorite on your list. I am not what you would call a fan, but I can always listen to this band. They really do have their own thing going on and they were the perfect choice to do the soundtrack for Jonathan Demme's "Something Wild".

That's cool! There is not one song on that album that I do not like, except for "Detroit 442", with "Love at the Pier", "I Didn't Have The Nerve to Say No" and "I'm Always Touched by your Presence, Dear"... That last one is, I think, about a person trying to communicate with their loved one, who has passed over on the other side. What a fascinating and awesome subject to have for a song! I don't think there is any group that experimented with so many different sounds and moods than Blondie. Every album is completely different.

Too bad that it didn't come up for you. Some of the links work fine and some don't. Yeah, "Hot Dog" is really kind of an anomaly for a Led Zeppelin song. There is just this shamelessness about "Hot Dog" that appeals to the nether regions. But it really seem sometimes like most of their music comes from the point of view of sex. They were horny dogs! But, now, here's another song that catches my libido off guard!

To me, the coolest song ever would have to be one from The Doors. Quite possibly "L.A. Woman".

I got playlists based on type or situations and yes the range is quite something. Yet I work more on a song basis than a group or singer basis even if I do like many songs from the same artist..
I got workout playlist, one for the car, one for driving at night, one for the 80's (biggest), one for the 90's , one for the 70's, one for Electro only, one for hair metal, one for french songs, crooners, hip hop,.. well you name it.
Eclectic could be a good word.
or how about some Andy Pawlak?
Or some old Guetta (back in 2004-2005 when you could get his clips for free on his site) this is also on my workout list. The clip is copied form the movie to Live and Die in LA (1985):
or this ?
or some ELO?
or some old stuff like?

No, unfortunately I have no real life cajun connections that I know of.
I do like what I've heard from Zachary Richard.
